Chapter 39: Armour Bearer

Gardenia leg up Lila the way she can cope. As a queen you should know how to humble down your self and adjust in accordance to the capacity of your people. Your only goal is to support them like a hen who shaded their eggs under wings. You can't force someone to stretch their wings if their feathers are still growing up.

Gardenia have seen the gift and potential of Lila. She transport and open doors but it's not holy rather it's bounded with curse. Her body as well can be a strong passage and vessel.

Gardenia have taken her to the Kingdom's prayer mountain. The hill known as Onesimus. Onesimus means useful and Once I Used but the meaning changes when the Glockenspiel household ventured. They have put a new meaning behind the word Onesimus the word should mean someone dear to you. Human's are not weapon nor tools. Humans are well spring of blessings.

Lila was instructed to kneel and should start to learn praying. It's been half day but she can't start. Her words were repetitive when prayers are meant to be dynamic. Her thoughts would distract her. Her senses are heightened due to the solemn background . Lila wondered how do they do that? How can they recite such powerful and sincere prayer?

Lila got up and paced inside the temple. The wooden pillars are carved with eagle, lion a throne and then an ox. As she walk through the hall. The pad of her feet slided all over the place. She started to follow the movement of the wind and start dancing with her eyes closed.

After her pesonal break Lila made her way toward Queen Gardenia.

"Your highness, I apologize but I was not able to recite any prayers. My mouth would stutter and my words were limited and repetitive. "

Gardenia smiled at her, she handed Lila a piece of paper.

"Write the things you want to pray for . That reaction is normal. Here are some guide.

When you pray you start with Adoration meaning you should tell the Lord who he is in your life. Describe him like God You are our Saviour. Second you need to confess. Ask for forgiveness like if today you have hurt someone uplift it to the Lord. Third, You thank the Lord for everything. Lastly Supplications, it talks about your dreams, desire or request. For now, that will guide you. A prayer does not need to be lengthy it only need to be from the heart. Pure prayers move the Lord. And when God moves your prayers becomes your armour. The best armour to have is the Word. "

Lila tossed herself on their bed and Kiel noticed how she let out a deep audible breath. She look baffled and discouraged. Kiel made his way at her side mirroring her position.

"Your baffled face is cute but your sighs are bothering me, Mind if I help? " Kiel inquired as he faced her.

"I can't pray, I never knew that praying was this hard. Father hath tasked me to write a prayer and mother accompanied me to Onesimus but I was helpless. "

Lila replied as she face Kiel who is laying on his side.

Kiel can't help but feel giddy at how Lila called his parents. But that aside, he needed to help his wife on this. It was no joke. Prayer takes time as well.

"Just write down what is in your heart except that you have to think that you are talking to your father. You are pouring your heart. You can tell him that you are having a hard time. " Kiel explained as he let his finger twirl Lila's locks.

"I see, It's like I am talking to my father. How did you do that? I mean father looked strict and serious all the time. "

Kiel laughed at her comment. She got a point there. His father as a King look stern, dignified and earnest. But to Kiel he is a doting father. Kiel flickered her nose.

"How about you tell me your prayer request?" Kiel encouraged.

Lila shyly look at him and showed him her list. Kiel read her prayer request. He smiled at how childish, pure and innocent at her writen list.

Kiel held Lila's s hand and demonstrated how to do it.

"Our Father who is our Saviour, Redeemer and Healer. We humbly ask of your forgiveness. We surrender any shortcomings we had done today intentionally and unintentionally. Thank you for the love, mercy and safety. I uplift to you Lila who is desiring to learn and grow in prayer, give her the heart and perseverance to do so, We thank your abundant safety and blamesless forgiveness. Utilize us for your will and purpose. Amen. "

Hexel made his way following the direction Cyrus gave him. Urchin on the other hand trailed behind Hexel. They are tracking the leaking gas complained by the residents of Otha a provincial area within the Kingdom.

They followed the tunnel to locate where the massive fluid that has no independent shape disturbing the area. When they set their foot, it already expanded with infidelity. The lack of volume bombasted their tracking. When they reached the source of it, the irritating atmosphere suffocated them. Urchin can't help but yelp and shrieks.

The gaseous aura stinged their eyes. Hexel crawled his way on the ground having Urchin to ride his back. Without using his limbs. They moved slowly in prone position. Not until Hexel felt a pad of feet step on his hands. The pain jounce within his finger tips swarming to his wrist. Urchin suddenly fell in front of him unconscious.The next thing he knew a strong force had his view turned blurry and unclear. A lengthy pipe closed his will. Hexel can feel his body wither as the tubular noise echoing forced his wit to shut.

Urchin secured himself by holding Hexel's shoulder. He is feeling happy to be in position of horse back ridding with Hexel. When his round eyes caught a woman's figure within the gaseous ambiance. He saw a vision his body slumbered and lose it's balance.

A woman with white gown held a lone scalpel. Her eyes glitters when she continue to dissect ang guage at the lifeless body infront of her. She put the slices inside a jar. Urchin studied the surrounding and fought his way within the grossing displays. A woman with fair skin is bathing in blood. Her laugh pounded a horrifying scream that quaked the whole site.
