Pre War

Tachibana opens his eyes looking around the room and goes back to sleep ignoring Yuno violently shaking him.

"Hey, you've got some explaining to do." She grabs his arm and pulls with everything she's got only to have Tachibana turn his hand and pull her forward with ease.

He turns and pecks her cheek, "Can we talk about this later he might kidnap Hitori you know." Yuno pulls him out of bed and he sits up rolling his eyes, "I thought you were letting me rest."

Yuno points to the intruder, "You said you'd stop making decisions without me yet here we are."

"It's self-explanatory though, he's his biological father and we .."

A big explosion echoes followed by a huge cloud of smoke. Kai is in the epicentre of all this chaos, "Dude, run they work for President Sawamura he hates Supers I doubt he's here to put on a show."

Kai pushes past the crowd noticing a drone that is specifically locked on him. He notices another one targeting his classmate hooking itself to her spine before she falls down.

"Enough!" A loud female voice shouts stopping everyone in their tracks. Kai looks up and the Empress is standing with her army of military soldiers all wearing black cloaks.

"I am still president and I am the law all these so called, Supers, will from now until my time at the seat of presidency is over have a curfew.

"Anyone who is a Super no matter what age or what your occupation is when the clock strikes 8PM these drones will be let loose, and if you are found outside you will be taken and no one will hear from you again."

Kai calls Tachibana who is already on his way making calls to ensure that Kai is safe. Ackerman stands next to Kai, "You okay?"

"My friend, what did that thing do to her?" Kai takes a step in her direction but Ackerman lightly pulls him back.

"Don't worry they are harmless it's where he plans to take her that's the problem, for now calm down and stay close to me Sawamura is only giving people a reason to not vote for him next year.

"60% of the population are kids like you with abilities and no parent in their right minds would wish for a world that will only make things harder for them."

"If he's the president shouldn't he be smarter then that?"

"Not everything is so black and white anymore it could be mind control. A big ploy to get him taken of the seat and have someone else take his place.

"Should he step down deputy president Sukowa is taking over, and you can sure as hell expect all hell to break loose for people like us, he hates us with every fibre of his being."

"What about Yuno and Tori?"

"They're with Sensen." Ackerman replies with a relaxed tone and looks around for Tachibana. 

"What the hell is the old lady going to do? Who's protecting them?"

"Calm down, your sister is safe worry about yourself we don't stand a chance. The Empress can't do much for us."

"If she wants to remain the Empress she better do something." Kai looks around hoping he will see Tachibana, but the man their both looking for currently has his own drone following him around and it's hard for him to shake it off without setting a bad example to the people.

An all out war is something he does not want to spark. People in black cloaks destroy the drones giving him an opening to reach Ackerman faster.

The Empress has more soldiers and the peoples support no matter what. The Supers are a product of her mistake she won't sit back and let this stand by, "You will not touch these children or any of my people.

"Sawamura Gon, you and all your party members will be apprehended effective and immediately, today is a day of renewal the SAB political party is being removed from power as of right now."

"Hey, does this mean Tachibana is getting arrested?" Kai asks Ackerman in a panic

"No, he had the foresight to separate himself from all of this chaos a while ago, he's all good."

"Let's go. The roads are getting stuffy driving out of here might get harder she looks like she means business." Tachibana's voice startles Ackerman and Kai jumps when he accidentally burnt his shoulder.

"What the hell dude?" Ackerman and Kai yell at Tachibana at the same time. One death glare and they were cowering leaning back.

They follow behind him driving back to the hotel to find Yuno and Tori freaked out by Sensen changing from an old lady to Ackerman's girlfriend. Her shift is very uncomfortable to watch considering you hear the bones crack and everything.

"Kai this is Karma, Hitori's biological father I thought you guys would like to meet him and maybe he'd like to meet Tori your sister never told him she was pregnant, and didn't seem to want to." Tachibana casually explains entering the room.

Kai watches Ackerman lock the balcony door and stand ready for any chaos about to happen.

"Stay calm Yuno, Hitori's watching you," Tachibana whispers into Yuno's ear fearing Tori will throw a fit any second because he sure is getting anxious watching her pace up and down biting her nails,

"It's nothing serious I'd just like to be prepared if anything happens." Tachibana tries to calm Yuno's nerves but it doesn't look like it's working.

"Won't they take you away?" She tugs on his sleeve with a worried look on her face.

"Tch, bet you wish you kissed me back now huh!"

Yuno steps on his foot taking back her concern.

Tachibana opens the door leaving and locks everyone in. He's not sure if they will leave him alone or they will come for him he just doesn't want Yuno and Tori to see him taken away. It's not worth all the trouble.

Three people in black cloaks surround him waiting for their orders there are specific party members that are a priority and a handful that are not on the Empress's list.

"Take him, but don't tie him up he's being taken for a different reason."

Tachibana narrows his eyes when they pave a path for him to follow. he doesn't fight them walking to the car.

Yuno looks out the window and her eyes widen when she sees Tachibana being led to a car by three people in black cloaks, "Ackerman move!" She pulls him out of the way and opens the balcony door looking over the railings.

Tachibana still hasn't noticed her assuming they'll use the door that he locked.

She jumps over from the top floor, "Oh my god!" A woman points up and Tachibana's face pales when he sees it's Yuno.

He propels himself upwards and catches her, "Being so reckless doesn't suit you." Yuno kisses him and Kai whistles.

"You owe me a 10 kid." Ackerman says to Tori, they had a one sided bet that Yuno and Ken falling for each other was inevitable.

Tachibana lands and kisses Yuno, "I called Tensho so you could find out more about Tori's ability and worry less about him. I'll call you first when this mess clears up, it won't take long."

Kai pulls Yuno back and gives her a look. She looks away like a child who was caught doing something bad turning to Tensho asking about Tori's ability to get her mind off the chaos that looks like it's just starting.

"Pour me a glass." The hooded male looks at the screen showing the corrupt party members being taken away.

Most people grateful the vice president is now powerless, but now it means Japan is under military rule until the politics of the country can be sorted out leaving a lot of people raising questions about the countries future.

No other country had such drama adapting to Supers.

"Hey Jet, why do you think they took Tachibana too?" The short female bartender asks handing him a glass of whiskey. 

Jet sips his whiskey slowly thinking the question over, "He single handedly spear headed the Kagawa project and the festival, so maybe her Majesty is considering him to play the part of the interim leader while they flush out the riff raff at the top

"You have to remember that he wasn't dragged out unlike the others."

"Ackerman left us for the good life huh!" She comments watching the news. Ackerman is shielding everyone past the paparazzi that's been trying to break into the hotel Yuno and Tachibana stayed at. 

They have questions about Yuno and Tachibana's relationship. That very public kiss has potential to make headlines if backed up by a single comment. 

"He didn't leave us with nothing. Tachibana contacted me a while back offering our little crew a job at the new Palace I turned it down because I thought he was just another power hungry bastard that wants a pack of loyal Supers under him.

"It's no secret that every last one of his employees at the Tachibana Palace were hand picked for their abilities. I didn't think much of him at first." Jet throws his glass into the wall and sighs, "Ackerman knew I'd come around and so I accepted the offer there's a storm coming and battle lines are being drawn.

"I don't know which side Tachibana falls under, but it's pretty easy to tell he's getting dragged into the chaos no matter what. The people at the top can't ignore him anymore and I think he's worth standing by."

He turns to the people in the room and shows them the contracts Ackerman brought to him. The second Palace will be their new home, "To the Tachibana Palace!" The small group cheers and spends all night drinking.

"Jet, are you sure about this? We have the option to stay out of it." His best friend in a t-shirt with the letter 'D' printed on it asks.

Jet laughs and shakes his head, "How many times have we stayed out of it? Ackerman has been giving us side jobs from the start I think it's time we get a full pay cheque for these odd jobs we'll be getting. I have a good feeling about this guy, trust me."

"We trust you."

Ackerman gets a text from Jet accepting his offer to work at the Tachibana Palace that will be having it's official opening Masquerade ball and he trusts his old crew whole heartedly to make it the best party in the history of parties, no one parties like they do.

Tachibana left it to him because the Kagawa project was a handful on it's own.

*Rex: currently under house arrest go to the Palace and look for Miss Luau she will handle everything for you from there.

*Jet: cool, any word about Ken?

*Rex: no, it's nothing serious though so don't worry about it.

*Jet: I guess we're even now.
