Chapter 17

The female mimic charges towards Ken perfectly content with the idea of a random woman stabbing him repeatedly.

He's been eating a lot of dragon fruit lately so he's not worried, by the time the doctors arrive it'll look like she missed all his vital organs.

This is right about the time a nurse or doctor will come by to check on him.

They lock eyes and Ken finally realises that this isn't about him, it's about being seeing, but why?

The female mimic pauses and slowly cocks her head to the side, "Perceptive, but keep your thoughts to yourself." She takes a step back smiling at the bloody mess she made.

Her eyes linger on the sight of blood a while longer as though she's staring at a master piece, "Beautiful." She grins tempted to go back and pop one last vein that's protruding.
