Realization:Change in plans!(II)

"Huh!" He was wondering why the old man kept moving away from the general Knowledge and wanted him to follow.

"You can't find anything about body refining in this section. As for grandmasters! I think they are probably not the best source of the information you want." The man seemed to know more.

The two of them came to a section with body refinement techniques, and Wang Lu seemed to see the old man wondering around a certain section. Only after a while, he pulled out a book and put it before him. Looking at the book, he didn't know what the old man was up to, but even so, his arms extended out.

Taking it, he opened the first page, and the information on it was very much like a street vender advertising fake products.

'Just like a dragon stepping out of the sea, those that practice this technique have a chance to become dragons among men!..." This line of words alone made his face turn dark.

"Old man! It this technique created by you?" He asked directly, and didn't think about giving him any face. He was not in this place to seek the old man's technique. He wanted to gain some understanding of the situation in the Body forging realm better. He had already started to practice techniques covering all aspects. He just wanted to make sure practicing more would bring him gains, even if smaller it was okay. But it would be waste if he practiced more techniques and the end result was the same.

The thought just came to him when he was practicing alone in the courtyard. He likened it to travelling. If the distance covered was not important and the destination was still the same, he had to rethink his plans.

But this old man clearly seemed to want to take advantage of him and promote this book he was reading.

Seeing the way Wang Lu was looking at him, the old man almost become angry.

"Little thing without ambitions! What! Do you look down on the technique personally selected by this old man for you?" He asked as he looked at Wang Lu.

But Wang Lu didn't even continue reading, he placed the book where it had been taken from and headed back towards the general Knowledge section.

Looking at the kid's retreating back, the old man sighed. He couldn't really force others to learn the technique as they might not even practice it. He thought that kid had some potential, but he didn't seem to appreciate his goodwill.

What the old man didn't know was that Wang Lu was cursing him silently.

"This is definitely a pit! I don't know where this development would reach, but I better avoid that old man for now. That technique should also not be practiced. Otherwise a series of events might end up cropping up." He didn't even dare stay any longer.

He changed his mind and decided it was time for him to go back and practice. He wouldn't come to the library unless he wanted to select another technique to practice.

If the old man knew his thoughts he couldn't stop himself from discipling this unfilial descendant. It was a pity that Wang Lu rushed out of the library faster than he came. He had decided to practice the techniques he already had first and after he was done, he could he able to gauge if more techniques would be of any use.

He didn't see any reason to keep seeking some confirmation from the books, as he could see those that had gone beyond the Body Forging realm seemed to disdain this stage.

Perhaps he might not be able to understand, after all he had not even reached halfway in the body forging stage.

He had to calm down and practice first.

Time passed by and before he even realized it, three months had already gone by.

He was different from before, as the body forging techniques he had been practicing had all been improving. Now he was stronger then before, but he could tell it was not that a massive increase. His strength only doubled after practicing the three extra body forging techniques.

Such a small improvement made him somewhat disappointed. Today was the day they where going to recieve the next follow up of the Indestructible Demon Body.

He cleaned himself up, and walked toward the place they first recieved the first section if the Indestructible Demon Body. He discovered that it was lively, and the aura of those gathering around had undergone an obvious change.

The most important thing was that he couldn't see the fear that was present in their eyes back then. Most had become too confident with the little strength they had gained and he could foresee trouble in the future.

Each of them was young and prone to develop some arrogance. He might have been the same, but he kept himself in check by reciting the reality around him. He had even created his own personal line.

'Im only at the bottom of the food chain.!'

The words were very interesting and they could actually calm him down unlike any mantras. But he didn't forget to recite it a few times a day. It was just not for removing his arrogance, it also works just right in allowing him to be motivated.

As more and more people gathered, Wang Lu realized the number had dropped compared to before they started practicing martial arts.

"So many have already quit?" He looked around and thought in confusion.

The discussions from all around suddenly stopped. He could feel the silence, and looking around, he realized everyone was observing before them.

He also turned his head only to see Wang Dazi. But compared to before, he actually felt his body trembling lighty. It was instinctive and it seemed like fear of meeting beings on whole league above him.

"Why is this happening? Don't tell me everyone is also like this?" He looked around carefully and realized everyone present were shaking.

"It wasn't like this in our first meeting? What is happening?" He was concerned and at the same time confused.
