Chapter 69

Napa Presses the Red Gem. The hoop begins to glow red. Napa is thrown back, Napa falls to the ground and is barely caught by Suzu.

"Are you all right Napa?" asks Suzu in a worried voice. Napa flies in front of the face and says." Yes I'm fine, no harm done." Suzu takes a deep breath and then says, "Why did the tire start glowing?"

Before Napa can answer, the entire cave is bathed in a bright light. Suzu and Napa close their eyes and turn away to the side. When Suzu and Napa close their eyes, they find themselves on a cloud flying through the sky. Suzu looks down from the cloud and sees a dolphin jumping around in the water.

On the horizon, Napa and Suzu see an island. "Are we flying to that island?" Napa asks. Suzu looks at Napa and says. "I have no idea. I don't know what will happen so let me surprise you." He says and smiles. Suzu sits down on the cloud and waits to see what happens next.

But nothing happens, Napa and Suzu arrive at the island with the cloud. A window appears in front of Napa and Suzu. The window says. [ Please get off.]

Suzu and Napa descend from the cloud. The cloud disappears immediately after Suzu and Napa descend from it. Suzu and Napa run into the interior of the island, As if out of nowhere, a jungle appears. Napa and Suzu are now standing in the middle of a primeval forest. "what is that?" Napa asks. Napa has never seen anything like it.

"that's a jungle." says Suzu." A primeval forest is an is an ancient forest that lies mostly in the tropics." Napa nods her head and pretends to understand, but really Napa has no idea what Suzu was talking about. The two walk through the forest until they hear something in the bushes to their left.

Suzu looks through the bushes and sees two yellow glowing eyes looking at him. Suzu is startled and jumps back. A small goblin jumps out of the bushes. He runs towards Suzu with a bolt in his left hand. Suzu takes his sword out of his inventory and blocks the goblin's attack. But only a moment later, he cuts off the goblin's head.

This time is different. The goblin does not dissolve but remains lying on the ground. Suzu looks at the goblin on the ground quizzically. Napa ponders into his field of vision and asks. "Are you okay Suzu?" Suzu shakes his head and then says. "No no all good." Then the two walk on until they come to an old abandoned wooden hut.

Suzu slowly opens the door. The moment Suzu opens the door, the entire wooden hut collapses. Suzu is now standing there with only the doorknob in her hand. Suzu turns to Napa and then throws the doorknob onto the parts of the hut that have just collapsed. The ground starts to shake and a crack appears in the ground that goes all over the island. Napa flies onto Suzu's shoulder and holds on tight. "What's happening Suzu." Napa asks in an anxious voice.

"I don't know but we should get out of here fast." Suzu turns and runs as fast as he can in the direction they just came from. The crack is getting bigger and bigger. The island is split down the middle, creating a canyon in the middle. Suzu and Napa are now standing at the edge of the gorge looking down. At the bottom of the gorge they see a dragon and a skeleton knight. (The gorge is about 340 meters deep.)

It looks like the dragon and the skeleton knight are getting along. They are standing on opposite sides of the canyon, but they do not seem to be mating. The dragon is pitch black with purple questioning eyes and a purple flame at the tail end. The cellar knight is huge, he is 15 meters tall and looks very threatening. He wears a black cape with a hood.

Suzu turns to Napa and asks. "What should we do now?" I don't know but it looks like we have to go down there." Suzu charts a little confused and then says. "Why is that?" Napa points to the middle of the canyon there is a door. "What how did it get there and when just now it wasn't there." suzu is confused. "Okay, and how do we get there without being attacked by the dragon or the knight?"

Suzu looks at Napa questioningly and then climbs down into the gorge. Suzu has already climbed halfway down the gorge wall, when suddenly Suzu's left hand slips and he falls a little: Suzu can just barely hold on to a root that has grown out of the wall. He pulls himself up a little so that he has a firm grip.

Napa flies to Suzu who is hanging on the wall. "Are you all right, Suzu? Are you hurt?" Suzu shakes his head and then says. "No, I'm fine, I didn't even lose HP," Suzu says in a surprised voice. Suzu continues to climb down. At the bottom he hides behind a rock with Napa. Suzu and Napa are now about 150 meters away from the door.

"ok what do we do now?" asks Napa Suzu looks at Napa and then says. "i have no idea." Suzu now sits on the floor and thinks about what to do now. Suzu thinks for a while and then says to Napa. "Can you fly to the door and see if you can open it?"

Napa nods his head and flies over the ground. Napa flies so close to the ground that he is not seen by the dragon or the knight. Napa arrives at the door. Napa sits on the door handle and pushes it down. The door opens slowly and a bright light shines through the door. Napa looks at Suzu and nods. Suzu looks at Napa and suddenly starts running. The dragon and the knight also start running towards Suzu.

Suzu runs around his, he runs as fast as never before in his life. He jumps through the door and just manages to avoid the attacks of the dragon and the knight. Napa immediately slams the door.
