Wang Lu and Wang Yue continued walking to the residence, unaware of the Li clan previous Patriach's incarnation's scheme.
In another location, outside of the Central Continent, massive palaces stood. In the middle of the palaces, was an ordinary-looking hut and an old man was sitting inside. On the other side stood a man a black armor. This was the Imperial Continent. The place in the Abyssal world that no anyone could enter at will.
The soldier standing respectfully kept watching the old man playing chess by himself and only after a certain period did he stop, turning to look at the man in the black armor.
"Are you here to ask me about the reason his majesty allowed the Ruins to be opened?" The old man asked without even shifting his sight from the chessboard.
The most intriguing thing was that the chessboard was trembling slightly, and the chess pieces that had been placed on it, kept shifting on the board by themselves.
The old man was not very scared or concerned about this, rather he looked at it with interest.
"Senior is wise!" The figure in armor didn't deny the old man's words.
"Huh! You have become bold! Back in the day, you probably wouldn't have even dared to say this to me?" The old man sighed as he looked at the man.
"You are considered half his majesty's disciple so I'll give you some advice! Stop trying to curry favor with those people. His Majesty isn't just planning to open up the Ruins, even the opportunities on the Imperial Continent are going to be opened up when the time is right. If I were you, I'd focus on making sure to improve my strength to the highest possible limit before then." He sighed as he signaled the figure to leave.
Watching the back of the figure, he couldn't help but complain.
"The situation in the Imperial Continent is beginning to turn for the worst. Even those that have received guidance from his majesty are planning for his demise."
The old man sighed as he talked to himself, "With His Majesty's plan this time, I believe they can't sit still. What a bunch of lunatics, his majesty is the only person in our world that has almost reached that realm. Even though he hasn't broken through, he has enough lifespan to outlive you guys."
Others think that his majesty was making preparations for his demise. But he was certain things were very much different.
He was also able to see the situation in the stars. The fact that gods were starting to recover was not surprising.
As for the opening of the Ruins, how could it be simple? His majesty wanted to gather the power of the Central continent to crush the Senluo hall.
That group was the threat in the current world, and their actions of offering sacrifices of humans to gods were clearly among his biggest concerns.
The idiots were clearly about to invite calamity and oblivious to this.
That being the case, he didn't mind making a move against them. But he didn't mind having the strength of the younger generation raised in the process.
Looking at the board before him, the old man sighed work a helpless expression.
"It seems that his majesty doesn't just want to crush the Senluo hall and other cults in the wilderness, he is also thinking about selecting a few disciples." The old man smiled as if had discovered something interesting.
But he didn't plan on speaking about this issue, he just looked into the sky with a solemn expression.
"Is his majesty's plan feasible?" He didn't know but at the same time, couldn't bring himself to worry about something like this.
Before he could even have another thought, a figure slowly manifested in the hall.
"Emperor!" The old man reacted fast, but even so, the man before him just sighed lightly.
"Drop the formalities, junior brother!" The strongest man in the world was indeed standing before the old man.
"Junior brother has focused more on his unorthodox Cultivation technique and it seems your results are not bad." The emperor said as he sat before the old man.
"Not everyone has the same talent as senior brother!" He spoke honestly. He was called junior brother because he gained some inheritance from the Emperor's master.
"Is has been some time since senior brother looked for me! What do I owe this visit?" The old man didn't beat around the bush.
"Unlike junior brother! I have some restraints due to the technique I practice, even a simple problem like the Senluo Hall that can be easily handled with a wave of my arm, has to use other forces." The Abyssal emperor complained.
"But senior brother should also be aware that the Wilderness was not formed naturally right? Targeting that place is bound to come with a cost. Even the strongest clans on the central Continent didn't dare to venture into the wilderness over the years but erect cities to guard their territory."
The Abyssal Emperor sighed. "Before my cultivation reached this point I was fearless, but the stronger I became the more I could understand."
He looked in the direction of the Central continent, and directly into the wilderness. He felt a terifying thing was located in the depths and he had this feeling that he shouldn't offend it.
"It seems that junior brother has also tried to venture into the depths of the Wilderness. You should be capable of sensing that dreadful thing in the depths right? We cant just sit and allow the Senluo Hall to attempt resurrecting another anomaly we cant handle. Since they insist on doing it, they cant be left alone. As for destroying the Wildernes, that is impossible with my current capabilities." As he said this, he looked at old man before changing the topic.
"During the following period, I not only want to select some disciples at the same time, need to organize more chances I hope junior brother can help me organize it if possible." Abyssal Emperor said as he looked into the sky.
He had a lot concerns, and his most pressing was obviously the changes happening in the sky.
He even wanted to pass on the responsibility of training the younger generation because he could feel that his state of mind was not focused on the task at all.
But the old man was indeed unwilling deep down, however he could only nod his head.
