Deletion Monsters

Her attacks are precise and deadly. Every time she attacks, she always hits the monster's weak spot. I wonder if she's using any sort of skill or not.

But judging from how fast she's killing those monsters, it seems like she's using some sort of skill.

"Hey, are you going to help or not?" Erina asked me as she killed another monster.

"Oh... Umm... I'm trying my best here..."

It seems like I need more than my attacks to stop these monsters. Here I thought that I would at least be useful or effective against this monster since I believe my level is capable of handling this but it seems like I was wrong.

I am shooting bullets at them but none of them are connecting with their targets.

*Bang!*

I keep shooting at them but they are still dodging every single one of my attacks.

Damn it! I can't hit them at all!

I tried to move closer to the monsters but it was not working. The monsters are too fast for me to hit them.

Looking at the other adventurers, it seems like the veteran adventurers have already taken care of them. They were pretty much handling all of the monsters here.

They are using various spells and skills to kill these monsters. Most of the monsters were killed by them but some of them are still alive. They are still fighting against these monsters but they seem to be having a hard time dealing with them.

"Damn it! I'm going to die if this keeps up!" one of the veterans says.

I look at him and notice that he's bleeding from his left arm. He is trying to fight against these monsters but he can't do anything due to the pain from his injury.

I could see that there are other veterans who are also wounded and injured. They are all trying to fight against these monsters but they can't do much because of their injuries.

I also noticed that there are some other adventurers who have already given up and decided to call for help as they all saying that this is the end for them if there's no help coming from the administrative faction.

"Hey, you! The one with the gun!" the veteran adventurer shouts at me.

"Huh!? Me!?" I point at myself.

"Yes, you! Hurry up and shoot those damn monsters!"

"Umm... Okay..."

I am my magun at one of the monsters.

*Bang!*

*Bang!*

The bullets hit the monsters and they fall down. I don't know what happened but suddenly I was able to connect with my bullets.

I then realized that I needed to hit them with the same timing that I did with my last shot. I also need to do it quickly.

This is going to be hard... I thought.

I am my magun at another monster and pull the trigger. I shot three times and all three shots hit the target.

The monster falls down and disintegrates into the air... 

I look at the other adventurers and notice that they are all looking at me in surprise. And it seems like Erina also was watching what I had accomplished at that time. 

"Wow! That's amazing! I didn't know that you were capable of doing that!" Erina said as she clapped her hands.

I look at her and smile weakly. "I'm just lucky..."

"I guess so..."

After I killed the monster, I realized that I could hit them whenever I wanted to. It still a mystery to me as to why I was being able to hit the deletion monster with my attacks all of a sudden.

"I didn't know that you were capable of doing that! You're really strong!" Erina said as she smiled at me.

"Thanks... But it's not something that I'm proud of..." I said that as I continued to fight.

We then continued to fight the remaining monsters.

After we finished fighting the monsters, I heard some kind of bell ringing in the background. I looked at the source and saw that it was coming from the main guild.

One of the veterans says, "Took them long enough to arrive here."

"Yeah, it took them about thirty minutes to get here. They sure are slow." another veteran said.

I don't what that actually means but I could guess that it's reinforcement coming to help us. I could hear them approaching this area from far away.

I look at Erina and ask her, "Who is coming?"

"That's the administrative faction coming to help us."

"Oh..."

I look at them and see that there are four people coming our way. I couldn't see their faces but they seemed to be wearing some sort of uniform.

"Only four people? They are sure to underestimate this situation..." one of the veteran adventurers says.

"Yeah, I know. They should've sent more people to help us." another one said.

The four people arrived at our location and the first one who arrived was the one who seemed to be in charge. He is a middle-aged man with blonde hair and he's wearing a black suit. He looks like a normal businessman.

The second person who arrived was a young woman with short black hair. She is also wearing a black suit.

The third person who arrived was a young man with brown hair and he was wearing a black suit as well. He also looks like a normal businessman. The last person who arrived was a middle-aged man with white hair and a beard. He also wears a black suit.

"Good afternoon everyone. I am sorry that we took so long to arrive here. But don't worry, we're here to help you." the first man said as he smiled at us.

The other three people also smile at us.

"Thank you so much for helping us." one of the veteran adventurers said.

"You're welcome. Now please let us deal with these monsters." the man said as he pointed at the monsters.

With that, all of the adventurers that were in the area began to move away from the fighting. We then watched as the four people began to fight the monsters.

All of them are using magic. The woman uses fire magic, the young man uses earth magic, and the middle-aged man uses wind magic. They all looked to be like regular businessmen but I could tell that their strength was beyond what the adventurers display.

As we are now watching them fight the deletion monster, I took the opportunity to talk with Erina about the four guys who came to help.

"Hey, Erina? Do you know those four guys?"

"Yes, they are members of the administrative faction. You might not believe it but the four of them are actually stronger than your average veteran adventurers, way stronger. They are also known as the "Four Kings of Suit".

I look at Erina in surprise. I didn't think that the four of them would be that strong. 

I mean I do know about the protective gear that they are wearing, as the suit isn't just a normal suit. 

It's a special event suit to be obtained in the game by grinding a lot of time in the game. I didn't think that someone would actually waste their time to get such an item and get killed in the end. Why would their character end up in this out-of-bounds world? 

And the reason the gear was a business suit was because instead of wasting time playing games, people should apply for a job. It was meant to insult the NEET. So people who usually have that item are labeled as a NEET right away. 

They killed all of the remaining monsters in a matter of minutes. It was quite a spectacle to see them fight.

After the battle was over, the four people came to us.

"Thanks for your hard work." the woman said as she smiled at us.

"Thank you so much for helping us." one of the veteran adventurers said.

"You're welcome. But we couldn't have done it without your help. All of you hold your grounds very well." the woman said as she looked at all of us.

"Yeah, we couldn't have done it without your help." another one said.

"No problem. Now if you'll excuse us, we must return to the headquarters and report all of this stuff." Before she left, she said that it was better to tell the builder faction that he could resume his construction.

And then the four of them left the area.

As the four of them left, all of the adventurers began to cheer and celebrate.

"We did it! We won!" one of the adventurers said.

"Yeah! We were able to hold our ground against those monsters!" another one said.

I look at Erina and ask her, "It is something worth celebrating? I mean for sure things like this would happen again right?"

Erina nodded her head.

"Yes, you're right. But it's still a good thing to celebrate the fact that we were able to defend ourselves against those monsters. That's why we need to keep our spirits high and continue fighting them. Plus it seems like no one has died in this battle, so that's a good thing."

"Yeah, you're right."

I guess it's right to celebrate something like this.

After the battle, Erina and I went back to the Adventurer Faction.
