Chapter 240: The Retreat, Part 1

With Leigh, Aurora, and I going on separate paths, we should afford to retrace and rediscover our old selves.

And when we feel confident enough, that's when we will go back to our apartment unit.

It just takes us three days to do all this; and once we all go back to our own home sweetie home, we welcome one another with refreshed and renewed faces.

A simple "how did you do" and their corresponding answers are enough.

Of course, we can't forget about Aurora's kitty!

We then bring out our own souvenirs from our pasts, which are mostly photos but are also several trinkets.

We waste no time telling the impressive stories behind them, like that old PC and karaoke machine, the bottles of alcohol, and the letter of recommendation from a prestigious technology school.

Once we're done reorganizing our unit a bit to accommodate these additional treasures, we then deliberate on something.
