Qi?

"It was the hour of the tiger when I heard his loud fuckin yell...HOUR OF THE TIGER! I TELL YA!"

"JIN WAKE YOUR ASS UP!"

Babo's voice was so loud that Jin thought that it could probably revive his dead parents.

Jin slowly opened his eyes and spoke groggily.

"Master?..."

...

Babo's mouth exploded again his voice loud enough to shake the whole house.

"WAKE UP OR I'LL BEAT YOU UP AGAIN!"

The exhaustion that weighs over Jin's body suddenly subsides in response to the fear of getting beaten again.

Jin quickly stands up and yells.

"JIN MYEONG READY FOR DUTY SIR!"

SLAP!

Babo slapped Jin back to his senses, and he spoke.

"Wash yourself and meet me by the waterfall."

Jin, afraid of getting beaten silently complies with Babo's orders...

"What the hell are we gonna do at this hour?! The sun hasn't even risen yet." Jin quietly whispered to himself...

After washing himself Jin hurriedly goes to the waterfall afraid that Babo will lose his patience...

"You're finally here," Babo spoke.

"Why do you need me here master?" Jin asked.

Babo scratches the back of his head not knowing what to say next.

"What is it again? Uhhhhhh....uhhhhh..."

"Fuck this old geezer, he clearly didn't know whatever the fuck he is gonna say!"

Jin is now visibly annoyed but he tries to hide it by forcing his smile afraid that he will anger Babo.

Babo's head finally clicked and he proudly said.

"Qi, yeah Qi!"

(W/n: Spiritual energy/natural energy of the world.)

"You will be learning how to manifest Qi, like this."

Babo conjured an arrow made of Qi in his fingertips and shot it directly into a rock...

Woooshh!

The arrow traveled so fast that Jin didn't even realize that it had been shot.

Zap!

Jin hurriedly went where the arrow landed he saw that it pierced through the rock but the rock showed no signs of breaking.

Babo smirked at Jin, Jin looked at Babo amazed and spoke in an excited tone.

"HOW'D YA DO THAT!? ARE YOU GONNA TEACH ME THAT!?"

Jin's eyes sparkled in excitement,

barely stopping himself from jumping, eager to quickly learn this trick from Babo.

Babo clicked his tongue and spoke.

"If you follow me like a good student that is," he said while clicking his tongue a few more times.

Jin quickly changes his demeanor one fitting to a disciple.

"Teach me the way, master."

Jin spoke while he bowed...

"Very well Jin."

Babo said while trying to resist the urge to smile.

"I have a question for you Jin."

Babo asked,

"What does every lifeform consist of?"

Jin thinking he was smart, answered,

"The body right?"

Deafening silence

With no hesitation, Babo yelled.

"WRONG YOU DUMBASS!"

Jin startled by Babo's sudden rise in voice asked...

"Then what is it?!?!"

"THE MIND, BODY, AND SOUL YOU DIMWIT"

Babo calmed down and spoke.

"Can't believe I raised such a disciple..."

"That's cool and all but what does that have to do with Qi?"

Babo tries to hold off his annoyance as he explains The Mind, Body, and Soul's relation to Qi.

"I'll explain this to you, you, peanut brain dimwit."

"Think of it like this.

The soul is like water inside a container, which, if the body is the container and it breaks, all of our soul, or qi will then break out that's big trouble, if our Qi overflows and the container can't contain it anymore, that's another big trouble."

Babo smiled contently expecting Jin to understand it fully...

"What does the mind do?"

Jin was confused as to why Babo didn't explain the mind's part in all of this.

Babo looked at Jin disappointed, his smile slowly turning into a frown, his tone of voice devoid of all emotion except-

Disappointment.

"The mind controls the body dumbass."

"Oh...Then how do we get that Qi going then?"

Babo looked at Jin and grinned mischievously.

Jin sees this and thinks to himself.

"Something bad is gonna happen to me...I know it..."

Babo stopped Jin's thoughts when he spoke.

"First strengthen your body so that it can hold Qi inside of it."

Babo's smile grew wider as he listed off the things Jin had to do.

"100 push-ups, 100 pull-ups, 100 squats, 100 sit-ups, and run up and down this mountain 10 times!"

From this point on we can say that Jin is flabbergasted, staggered, bewildered, and astounded by all the things he has to do.

And it only got worse as Babo said.

"And . . . I'm gonna add another set of rings for ya!"

Jin is so shocked to speak or even move that Babo just casually puts the 3rd set of rings onto Jin's limbs.

Now real training begins.
