Aged 16

Yin was finally able to make it to the age of 16 and he could now use the sword that his grandfather had gifted him. He was walking through the sect when he heard some people talking

"Have you heard? The sect leader broke through and is now missing! He finally transcended his humanity and can now live for 1000 years!" One voice said excitedly

"Wait, he's missing? What's going to happen to the sect?" The other voice said sadly

'I need to find my grandpa!' Yin felt as if there was a knife digging in his heart. The only one there for him and he had admired is now gone! He didn't even say goodbye to him..

Yin ran all throughout the sect yelling for his grandpa, he asked many disciples but everytime he got the same answer. "I don't know, I heard he went missing after someone attacked him during his breakthrough".

Yin's heart was in disarray and worry, but he kept telling himself that he knew his grandfather was too strong to be defeated!

'These people are all useless.. I'm going to find him myself!' Yin thought as he rushed home. He grabbed his sword his grandfather had gifted him and then left the sect walls.

"Where do you think you're going servant?" A 16 year old said blocking his path. This was the same kid who had wounded him before.

"You don't want to block me, trust me." Yin growled out, as this was going on there was a powerful elder keeping watch over them.

"Fine, take my attacks then! I am at the middle layer of spirit revolving!" The ugly teenager screamed out as he attempted to punch and kill Yin.

"Fine.. your fault." Yin said devoid of emotion, just as the teenagers fist was about to connect to Yin's face his entire body was sliced horizontally by Yin's blade.

Before he died the kid's final words were "Y..you you can't do this.. im a sect member!" Then his body fell down as blood and his organs spilled out across the field.

"This.. this kid. He has no cultivation but he killed that kid in one move! I don't believe that was even a powerful sword style, that was just a basic strike from the foundation building style!" The hidden elders eyes widened in shock. However he quickly retracted, sure it was shocking however it isn't unheard of.

The spirit revolving was just the first cultivation tier and he was only in the middle layer, it was just shocking that Yin was able to do so without any hesitation and at his age!

"I must consult the other elders on what to do.. he's surely a good candidate for sword arts but he may be defeated on the search for his grandfather.." The elder then disappeared

Yin began walking, his goal was to go to the capital and look for people who may have sighted his grandfather. The sect was extremely close so it wasn't a long walk.

As he was walking he was stopped once more by a group of men in dark robes who were clearly cultivators. "We are the Soul Bandits! Give us all your belongings before we kill you!" The leader of the bandits immediately screamed at Yin

"Bandits huh. Come take it then!" Yin said with a ferocious expression. The bandits surrounded Yin and they all jumped at him at once but they could only see Yin move his hand before all of their heads were decapitated and rolled on the floor.

"What's with these idiots? Just because I'm not interested in cultivation doesn't mean I'm weak!" Yin smiled

'At least I don't need to find people to train against, they come right at me! So I suppose there is some good in all this.." Yin was truthfully, content in an odd way.

Soon enough he reached the capital and was looking around for people to ask about his grandfather. All they were talking about is the Soul Bandits becoming increasingly more active, someone even dared to say the Soul Bandits probably killed his grandfather!

'He's.. not that weak. Don't be ridiculous. Don't be ridiculous!' As Yin screamed this out in his mind he unintentionally allowed some of his killing intent seep through, the guard's came and were screaming at him.

"Are you trying to kill someone! Kid, get out of the capital! Now!" The guards screamed out

"Fine, but just remember this. When I own you, you will disappear." Yin said as a response as he walked out.

"Own me? Kid you're retarded! I'm just a janitor taking out the garbage!" The guard yelled out as Yin left.
