Chapter 75 Bet Within a Bet

Dewitt's jaw tightened.

He didn't answer his father directly. 

"Do you still remember our agreement?"

"Regarding Shirley? Edward's brows furrowed. "Of course."

Edward remembered it clearly. The only reason Dewitt allowed him to impose Shirley by his side was because of their agreement.

"You agreed, Father, that if Shirley ended up sleeping and falling love with me, you would make her leave immediately, as well as transfer 20% of my brother's share to me. Is that condition still in effect?" Dewitt's eyes glinted.

Edward carefully observed his son, deep in thought. Dewitt had long learned to hide his emotions, so no one could tell what he was thinking from his impassionate face.

"Dew, I know you've always had a grudge with your brother, but why would you want to strike so soon? He doesn't mind much of our family's businesses these days anyway," Edward said calmly. There was nothing more troublesome to him than his sons at a stalemate with one another.
