Shirley trembled as she gazed at Corlia in shock.

"He's in the hospital?"

"You don't know?" Corlia was a little surprised. Then, she pursed her lips and said, "Don't pretend! How could you not know? You're the one who caused his car accident, you b*tch!"

Shirley's face instantly turned pale. 

"...I truly don't know. How did he get into a car accident? Is it serious?"

Corlia seriously looked at Shirley, as if trying to see if she was lying. Yet the genuine light in Shirley's eyes made her mumbled in confusion. "You really don't know?"

Shirley's heart inexplicably tensed up. "Corlia, I'm in no mood to bluff you, right now. How is he? Is he okay?"

Her throat choked up suddenly, body starting to tremble.

Corlia was dumbfounded. She glanced at Shirley and said nothing more.

With a loosening of her hand she let Shirley go and turned to leave, mumbling to herself in a daze, "If it wasn't you...who was it? ...who..."
