"Cheng Yu!"
"The name sounds like a woman!" Qin Jian shook his head, "The only female soldiers on the battlefield are military medics, so the one you're talking about must be a female army medic, right!"
"Do you have an impression?" An Hao asked.
Qin Jian searched his memory, "It's been too long, I don't remember! Why? Is she special?"
"Not really." An Hao smiled faintly, "I just heard about her occasionally and thought I'd mention it to you. After all, you've both been on the battlefield. However, it seems she wasn't as lucky as you; she appears to have been seriously injured."
"Too many have died on the battlefield." Qin Jian's voice grew heavy, "We all survived by stepping over the blood and bodies of our comrades."
"I know." An Hao gently patted his hand, "War always leaves behind painful memories! Their blood has bought us the happy life we live today, so we must cherish it all the more."
"Mm!" Qin Jian nodded.
Hand in hand, the two returned home.
