Hoax

After the kids left, Selena opened the café. Killian in the kitchen was cleaning all the utensil she used for baking while her auntie and uncle were upstairs.  

Selena sat on the high chair behind the counter. She was certain that she hated Killian last night and promised not to see him again yet he was in the kitchen cleaning the place.  

She sighed and looked at herself through the glass wall of the café. She already looked exhausted despite the time.  

The chime of the door opening has made her turn. A smile curved on her lips casually upon seeing Barney.  

He was in his usual uniform, looking so neat and snappy.  

"Good morning," Selena gave him her brightest smile. She got up and walked closer to him.  

"How are you?" Barney tousled her hair, eyes locked at hers.  

"Good and since you are here, can you please take Killian with you? I don't want him around."  

Barney chuckled and looked at the open window with Killian's view wiping the kitchen counter and whistling whimsically.  

"Are you sure? He looks like he is enjoying cleaning your kitchen."  

"Yup, I am one hundred per cent sure."  

With that, Barney took out his cuff and entered the kitchen. When he came out, Killian was holding him and his wrists were locked with cuffs behind.  

Killian smirked and pushed Barney towards Selena.  

"I am not leaving Selena."  

Selena pursed her lips. After remembering what she heard at Killian's parents' house, her blood boiled with anger.  

"Why not? Are you not done using me?" Killian might be her baby's father but she will make him suffer for using her   

"About that," Killian raised both hands midair, surrendering, "it's my fault and I am sorry. Can you forgive me?"  

Selena laughed sarcastically in response, then she shook her head, "never."  

"I will do everything just please forgive me."  

"Nope, never."  

"Please?"  

"Nope."  

Killian blew out a sigh, "I will do everything. I will stay outside for a whole day, a week a month or even a year. I will stay there until you forgive me," he took a step closer and reached out for her hands but Selena dodged it.  

Her face was grave serious, lips pursed tightly.  

"Fine. Stay outside until I say so. I don't care if it's raining or even if there's a tornado. You must stand outside."  

Hope glistened in Killian's eyes. He frantically nodded and smiled widely.  

"alright. What about for checkups, can I come or do I need to stay?"  

"What checkup?" Barney who was still cuffed looked confusedly at Selena, "are you sick?" he asked worriedly.  

Killian chuckled, he quickly switched position and now standing between Barney and Selena.  

"She is not sick Barney. Actually, Selena and I are-" before he could continue, Selena has swiftly covered his mouth with her palms. Wide eyes were glaring at him.  

Right there, Killian realized that she didn't want to share the news with anyone yet.  

He wanted to tell everyone about her pregnancy but since she was not ready, he decided to shut his lips.  

"We are having a party and we want to make sure that she can drink alcohol," he said after taking Selena's hand away from his lips.  

Barney's face flattened, "whatever, take these cuffs off so I can go to work."  

While removing the cuff, the door opened. Everyone's eyes looked at the door direction only to see Kathy.  

"Barney darling. Why did you leave me in the bed alone?"
