Lucas POV.
Meanwhile, the subordinates are busy preparing for their annual gathering at Lucas' castle.
"My lord, everything is ready..."
I looked at the person who spoke. It was one of my subordinates who had organized the upcoming gathering. "... Make sure all the requests are in order." Although I'm not too fond of crowds, I was forced to because of the council.
My subordinate nodded. "Don't worry, my lord; everything is in order, so you don't need to worry." His answer was full of certainty, so I didn't comment again as I walked to my room.
As soon as I get into my room, I let out a long sigh as I stand in the window while looking at the dim moon.
A familiar figure pops into my mind again. And like before, her scarlet eyes were full of resentment while crying and pleading.
