Well if you think about it, Abyss do sounds nice if you compare it to team names that are way too overrated.

Evolutionary serum is the dream of all survivors. Having evolutionary serum means that a person has the chance to evolve and become stronger. Now, who don't want these thing?

Though the serum Adam had is slightly different from the one provided by the army to meritorious individual, it does looks like an evolutionary serum.

After 5 hours, Gil and others finally regained consciousness.

He can't be mistaken, the power he is feeling is from a tier 2 evolutionary. That means that he is a tier 2 himself.

Adam without knowing, the loyalty level of his team was actually soaring high with Gil even reaching level 90.

The other members also woken up and are also pretty excited on how much powerful their bodies had become. The women even cried tears of joy feeling that they also now have the capital to survive.
