Just the possibility of taking a bath was enough to get Anne into high spirits again. She could go for a week without eating, but taking a daily bath was something sacred for her. It wasn't just the terrible heat that afflicted her since early in the morning and the urgent need to clean off all the sweat and dust that stuck into her skin, she had also made a pact with the goddess of the moon and the easiest way to earn her favor was to take baths on a regular basis.
Although Anne hated getting dirty, she really loved being out in the wild, exploring new places and the feeling of freedom that came with it. Sadly, all the memories from her past life haunted her. Her strict upbringing had forged her into someone who couldn't stand not looking at her best at all times and she couldn't endure being dirty any longer.
