Attack Another Goblin Village

When the next morning arrived, Theo got up, and as he had always done since he built his house, he went to recruit his units after washing up. Arriving at the mausoleum, he recruited a warrior and, to his surprise, a new Skeleton Mage who also came with a great skill.

Theo was curious to know what this ability did, so he decided to do some tests on forest animals, he went out with the wizard and some other units. After walking a few hundred meters, he found a hungry pack. His first order was for his mage to attack, so his mage unit came out to the front of the group and attacked.

As soon as his ability was triggered, Theo could see what exactly it could do, it was a very versatile ability, it could shoot rays of darkness, which left the enemy paralyzed for a few minutes. Balls of darkness that exploded and caused terrible damage to their bodies, creating huge holes where they fell and killing their enemies within minutes.

After that, they returned home, and then Theo resumed his training activities, after lunch was over, he began to do some things he wanted to complete at camp before the next disaster.

Theo was determined to prepare for any disaster the game world could throw at him. After the acid rain incident, he realized the importance of having adequate protection. His next few hours were filled with tasks to strengthen his camp, he started by making warm clothes, anticipating that a blizzard might happen at some point. While the game world continued to be fraught with danger, Theo knew he needed to be prepared for the extreme cold, just as he was already preparing for the acid rain that could happen again.

Additionally, he wanted to ensure he would have a reliable source of drinking water. Theo also planned to build a sturdy cover for the well, keeping it protected. Classes with Alika also continued to be part of his daily routine, and he looked forward to each new spell he learned.

Theo knew the next disaster would be different, but he still tried to prepare himself for what would come. He still had a lot to achieve, including leveling up and strengthening his units. Theo knew the road ahead would be full of challenges, but he was determined to overcome them.

In the regional chat, Theo continued to follow the news and stories of the other players, conflicts were a constant reality. And many were fighting to survive and find solutions to the challenges of this world, but many of them died because they were too weak.

The next step would be to explore beyond the lands he already knew, Theo was eager to discover new adventures, but he knew that the game world still had many secrets to reveal and challenges to offer. He was determined to face them and progress on his journey in this world, where he must survive at any cost.

Each day represented a new opportunity to grow and become stronger, and he was eager to continue his journey in search of more adventure and power. When night came, Theo ordered his ghost scout to be sent into the forest to look for clues about new villages or other players, this time he could go further. Now that he was level 14, his strength and endurance were greater, and he could handle longer journeys.

After sorting that out, Theo took a shower and decided to call it a day. Tomorrow he would replant Copper's fruit trees as well as make a covered vegetable garden so that the acid rains wouldn't contaminate the plants that Alika brought, some were edible and others were for creating potions.

The next morning, Theo performed his recruitment ritual, which gave him a warrior and a ghost without a profession. Then he went to where he had previously created the planting fields, as they were boxes with soil. He had to order the zombie who was taking care of the place before to remove all that soil contaminated by acid rain. He then used his earth magic to fill them again, and with that, he was able to replant the seedlings that were already growing. This was, obviously, due to his classes with Alika who taught him some plant reinforcement magic. Especially one that can speed up the growth of the plants he and she were using every few days on the seedlings.

Theo built a roof over the planting field boxes, as well as placing them all next to each other, four boxes in total. One for each of Copper's trees and one for Alika to use as he pleased, the roof covered them all and was made of wood and earth. This was an idea that Theo had at the last moment after remembering that the roof of his house didn't last long in the acid rain. So he made a layer of hardened earth with his magic that would be more resistant to the next rains.

This took up most of Theo's day, but during dinner he remembered to ask Amethyst about his scout and if he had returned yet. To his surprise, the scout hadn't returned yet, and there was no sign of his death either, as he would have been notified by the system.

Only on the night of the following day did the scout ghost return with news of a new goblin village, larger than the last one they attacked. That day, Theo was lucky enough to summon a hunting ghost and a zombie.

Theo then thought about the matter, and after learning that the village was at least 5 km away from his camp, he decided that he could attack but that he would not take all his units. He left Ranger, the zombies, and some warriors to protect the camp and his subordinates, who would remain. So the next morning he got up, recruited a zombie and a warrior, after which he left with his units.

He and his undead walked for hours at almost running speed through the dense forest until they finally arrived at a place where there were signs of civilization. The terrain became more rugged, and Theo noticed footprints and marks that indicated the presence of intelligent beings. He approached cautiously, and as he rounded a bend, he came across the goblin village.

The village was made up of rudimentary huts made of logs and leaves and surrounded by stakes. Little goblins with green skin and glowing eyes were busy with their everyday activities, such as cooking on makeshift fires and carving stones. Theo, with Bones and Amethyst, watched for a moment, trying to understand the dynamics of that village. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when one of the goblins noticed his presence. The little being hid behind a pile of logs and screamed a shrill alarm. In a matter of seconds, the entire village was alert and hostile.

The goblins, wielding crude spears and axes, advanced on Theo. He prepared for confrontation, and his undead followed his orders. Bones advanced with his sword towards one of the goblins, but before he could attack, he was hit by a spear that passed between the bones of his leg, embedding itself in the ground and knocking him down. When the goblins saw that he fell, they rushed at him, trying to dismantle him, but his fellow skeletons stopped them.

Amethyst also actively participated in the battle, she would disappear, and when she appeared again, she was about to kill a goblin, causing panic and confusion.

Theo's new ghost hunter was also very active, he charged at a group of goblins and, with his stealth skills, ripped out their throats with his knives. One by one, the goblins began to weaken and fall.

Theo faced a goblin that stood out, probably the leader of the village. With his rapier, he managed to disarm the goblin by piercing his wrist in a quick attack. After a brief fight, the goblin leader was full of wounds from the attacks he suffered and was bleeding profusely.

He and his undead emerged victorious in that battle, and after killing all the goblins he ransacked the village. To his surprise, he found some books in the leader's house. He decided he would see what they were once he got back to his camp and was less tired, everyone walked back slowly this time.
