Survival system

The human race is at war with goblins on planet earth. After humanity failing to dispose of goblins efficiently enough many lives and territories were lost. Eventually, humanity reached a standstill with the goblins each size having more or less land than eachother. One day a great scientist by the name of Victor created what is called the ability drug. This drug was made in some questionable ways but it was overlooked after the power it provided to humans. The drug let humans have a super power according to the drug variant. The rich and powerful hoarded the best variants while it was being massed produced. The drug let humans topple an entire small city with a wave of their hands. The goblins were quickly losing to the humans after more and more people were able to use these drugs. However the tables have turned again when ships from outer space came and brought more reinforcements for the goblins. The reinforcements were much stronger than the orginal and also had access to powers! Luckily, the reinforcements were few in number but were still the most powerful beings on the planet ; if you were by yourself and one of them found you I would suggest you make some prayers quickly. Due to their insane bodies lots of people referred to them as ogres because of their insane regeneration and towering bodies which are over 30ft tall! The humans vs the goblins have reached a standstill once again with either side constantly at war but no significant progress. Due to human greed those at the top hoarded the best super drugs and those at the bottom were lucky if they got one! While the variant types differ and some are stronger than others they mostly come down to talent and hardwork. There is a problem with the drugs ; they are not so kind to everyone some people die when taking them due to the massive influx entering their bodies. Our main character Jack lost his parents during the war. He never knew much about them other than they were scientists or engineers something of the sort. Ever since his parents left the orphange which he grew up in was very kind in bringing him up. He became 16 and one day his whole life changed when he did.
