Volume 1.1 When I Thought This Transmigration Will End

I never thought I would see the daylight once again. Ah, no, something about this translucent screen.

The waves from the ocean flashed through my face but I couldn't care less entirely. The pressing manner right now was, I am tied together with the people I said that I'll just watch and never deal with.

The blondie and angel looking crown prince who was a snake inside. The blue haired cold duke, the dense and kind heroine, the frilly tsundere villainess and there were six other unfamiliar and strange people as well.

First, there was this man wearing some sort of traditional white clothing you see on those cultivation stories. If I remember correctly, it is called Hanfu or something. And he had this string musical instrument with him, if I remember right, it is called Guzheng.

The second strange person was another man, wearing black modern suit. He looked like those typical cold devilishly handsome C.E.O.

The third one is another pretty boy who was wearing a really extravagant outfit and still had flashy sunglasses. He gave off the feeling of an idol or celebrity.

The fourth one was another girl, wearing a school uniform, a combination of white blouse and blue skirt. She had this short pink bob hair and was giving off the vibe of a heroine in some cliche school romance.

The fifth one was a middle aged looking fine man wearing a military uniform.

And the last one, I don't know whether they were boys or girls since they were covered with hood and there was this huge scythe beside them.

Why do I say they are strange? It was because just a while ago, I was in a Victorian era feudal fantasy world and definitely their clothes doesn't fit the genre.

As I looked around, it seemed we were in some old ship with these native people holding spears that has been pointing at us. Hmm…This might still be confusing, so I'll explain everything from the start.

A lifetime ago…

I am Ida Clarke! But before that, I was known as Ida Wright during in my original world. I am just a simple student in her twenties. Someone who had their life when college started, just rotated around university and home.

Well, I used to hang-out with my friends but suddenly it changed when my left foot got injured during my fourth year of highschool. And my life as a track and field athlete ended with a bang just like that. But I guess the spirit of being a runner still lies deep within me, since in the end, I chose to run away from everything without any direction.

I indulged myself to run away from reality. Reading different fiction books, manga, manhua of any genre, playing different online games and other stuff. Anything that can indulge myself in the small space of my room. Though, I never got to hang out with my friends. They still check and visit me often. They are really kind one and I hated myself for being such a jerk. But there was nothing I could do about that. That is what my life flows now.

That time, the doorbell rang. 'Hmm. That must be the new VR Game that I ordered.'

When I got the package delivery and started to climb back to my room on the second floor of our house,

"Ida, have you eaten your dinner already?"

"Yeah." I answered my mom nonchalantly and immediately went back to my room. I quickly opened the box and set the game.

'Chance.' That was the name of the game I brought along with the VR set.

*Ring!*

"Hmm… who calls me at this time?" I picked up my phone only to see Jessie's name on the log. I swiped the screen and pressed the loudspeaker.

"Hey,"

"Hey, how are you?" Jessie asked.

"Just doing fine, the new game you recommended to me arrived together with the VR set."

"What?!" Jessie yelled at the other side. Thank goodness, the phone was not near my ear. Or else, I might have gone deaf.

"What's with the scream?" I asked, maintaining my calm.

"Don't play that game!" Jessie yelled, or more like she sounded panicking at the other end of the line.

"And why?"

"Have you not heard about it in the news recently? Those who played the game were strangely fell into comatose."

"There's news like that? I haven't seen anything like that."

"It's in the headlight nowadays. I've even stopped playing now."

"I will be alright." I said as I started to plug the cables.

"But Ida!"

"It's a waste if I didn't play the game since I bought it already."

"You can't-"

I ended the call before Jessie could even finish her sentence. 'Hah. Seriously. What could get worse by playing this game? My life is already at its worst anyway.'

I turned off the light and put the VR headset on my head. Then I laid carefully on my bed and relaxed my body.

But maybe if I listened to Jessie that time, then I'm still living a normal life. Though it's a painful life, at least, I'm still free.

After accessing the game, I've been transmigrated as a no name character to the world of Chance.

The game followed a story of a tragic heroine. Elena Lindsey who was blessed with light magic. And as the cliche goes, she was admitted to the elite magic school of Moren Magic Academy The Academy that should only be exclusive for nobles of high society. Being different from the rest of the girls, the five male leads fell in love with her.

And if there was a heroine and male leads, of course there would be villainess. Suzanna Emerald, the only daughter of Duke Emerald.

And I live my entire life there without changing any part of the main plot of the story. Since I'm just a no name character, it was really easy for me. After ten years of staying in that world, I thought everything will end with the main event where the villainess, Suzanna Emerald, will be condemned for her sins. I really thought I could go back to my normal life on Earth but none of that happened.

At the exact time before the villainess were dragged by the guards, a translucent blue screen appeared.

A dark void appeared and it sucked all of us. The next thing that happened when I woke up was here. I was tied together with the main characters I've never wished to encounter. Aside from the strange place I was, the spears pointed at us, there was one thing that bothered me as well. It was this another blue translucent screen.
