Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Valentine's Day Special (Final Part)

"A jacket? For what?" Ren asked me. Both Ren and her sister, Rin, stared at me as Ellios played with Shiro in the back room, throwing around a bone with him.

"Well... maybe not a jacket, but a coat! Something that he can wear that will keep him warm and maybe... maybe think of me." I muttered.

"Huh? What was that last part?" Ren asked, but I shook it off, dismissing it completely.

"Well, whatever. So, do you have any ideas for this coat or jacket or whatever the hell?" She asked me. Ren went back around the desk and pulled out a sheet of paper.

"No... not really." I slowly looked towards the floor as I felt both Rin and Ren stare at me.

"Give her a break Ren. You still can't tie your damn shoes. Alright, well, what brought this one so suddenly?" Rin asked, sitting on the table with the large paper.

"Mandi brought up Valentine's gifts... and I wanted to get him something." Rin nodded. She was a lot nicer than her sister.

"See? It doesn't sound so stupid now, does it, Ren?" Rin asked her sister. Ren looked towards the paper with a sigh of guilt, apologizing to me.

"It's fine, really," I told her.

"Well, we need to get the message of love across now, don't we?! So... what does he love?" Rin asked me. I stared off through the window in the back of the room.

I... don't know...

"Don't make her brain explode. Oi, Dani. What does Sky like? Things, colors, anything?" Ren snapped her fingers, bringing me back out of thought.

"Uh, well, he likes the ocean and the color blue... and... me..." Both Ren and Rin shot toward me in surprise.

"He told you that?!" Both in synchronization, they quickly asked me their question. They were staring straight into my eyes. I nodded as I felt my face flare up with heat again.

"Wow! He actually does like people! I never took him for the type of guy to like anybody like that. He always seemed like he never really cared! Oh, but you should watch out... I hear he's quite popular with the ladies we woke up with, Dani." They said.

"R-Really?! Who?!" I asked, wanting to hear some names.

"That was a joke. I don't think a single person likes Sky as you do. To put it as nicely and bluntly as possible... there's really nothing to him. He's scary when he's angry, and he's pretty good at killing. Ren and I understand his reasons and points for killing and don't blame him for that." Rin said.

"We should also say that people don't hate him... they just aren't attracted to him like you are. But, we're not here to trash talk your choice in boys. Anyways, styles for his coat... he likes the ocean, the color blue, and Dani... what do all of these things have in common, Ren?" Rin asked with a smile.

Rin turned to her sister and she began drawing something huge on the paper.

"I know! They all have the color blue associated with them! The color blue especially! So, if we draw up some base sketches of such a simple thing, we'll get this!" Ren told me. She swung the paper towards my eyes and I leaned in close to look at what she drew.

The coat she drew was colored a solid blue color. It reminded me of his eyes. In several parts of the drawing, Ren enunciated the inclusion of white waves all over. Like some sort of cloak that resembled the ocean. It went down to the middle of his legs, at least on the little person Ren drew with the coat over them.

It had a sharp angle on the edge of the coat, meeting that midpoint on his legs before curving back up. To top it all off, my name was on the chest pocket.

"Too much! It's embarrassing... I like it otherwise though. My name seems to put a damper on the point of the coat." Both sisters scoffed at me at the same time and Ren erased it as Rin crossed her legs and looked up towards the ceiling.

"The meaning of the coat isn't simply a gift from me... I think it means much more... I think." I said, looking off to the side.

Ellios came into the room and slammed his hand down on the paper. "The blue would look better with white streaks on his shoulders. Push it down the left sleeve until it meets the White Stone, that way it looks like the entirety of the coat is connected to that Stone, the same reason why we're still alive is because of the powers that Stone grants him, right?" Ren broke out into laughter.

"Uh-oh! Watch out, Dani! I think Ellios is your competition!" Ren said to me. Ellios got angry but I actually like his idea a lot...

"Let's do it! I like that, it fits a lot with my reason for giving it to him." I admitted to the group. Ren stopped as Ellios began to laugh at her now.

"Sucks to suck airhead! I'm glad you like my idea Dani... but if I might add, I don't think you should wait until Valentine's Day to give it to him. I'll make sure Ren does good on it and by the time the war begins, it should be ready. Give it to him then. That would be a pretty solid confession... if you were to ask me." He said. Ellios turned back to go play with Shiro.

"He's right, in my opinion. You should give him something else for Valentine's Day." Rin commented.

"I don't think there's anything else I can gift him... I can barely give him this, I'm not even the one making it." I told her. Rin groaned in irritation.

"Then come visit and help us! It'll be made with your hands!" She paused, putting her curled finger over her mouth.

"And... I see plenty you can give Sky." I tilted my head in confusion. "Really? What do you see?" I looked down, then back up, still confused.

"Never mind, Dani. Just come back when you're feeling better. We'll start it as soon as possible, okay?" Rin asked, to which I nodded, turning out of the store and walking off.

I smiled with excitement, I can't wait to give Sky this coat! He better like it... or else I'll beat him up!
