Survival Evolved Halloween Special

--October 31st, 2446--

"Check this out Sky! Like it?" Dani asked Sky. She trotted forward, showing off her spooky witch costume with linen fabric, a large hat, and green skin painted only on her face. Sky couldn't help but laugh, watching her flick a wand back and forth toward him while mumbling a weird phrase.

Sky clapped his hands in celebration, showing off his own costume as well.

He had a leather belt around his forehead and was shirtless with bulky muscles. Along his neck in place of his old necklace was one made of sharp, white teeth and a strange medallion underneath it. He had iron gauntlets cheaply made from weak metal and a leather sash with a fur pelt underneath covering himself.

"Uh... what is that? You look ninety percent naked," Dani said with scorn. Sky was upset, thinking he had the perfect costume.

"Conan The Barbarian! I look so muscular, I can't help it!" Sky said. He flexed his muscles as his door swung wide open. Carl, Lia, and Charlie were all standing in their own costumes.

Carl, dressed as the classic character Sherlock Homes, put up his magnifying glass to Sky to analyze his costume, soon realizing that Sky was wearing a very revealing costume. He looked confused.

Lia, clad in her white sheet and black holes over her eyes, raised her hands up after seeing Dani dressed as a witch. The two rejoiced as the only normal costumes.

Charlie, on the other hand, was in a larger, inflatable costume resembling an orange dinosaur. He looked, waving his hands shortly toward Sky and Carl.

"It seems some of us are... underdressed... and overdressed..." Dani said, gleefully gazing from Sky to Charlie, who plainly sat with a straight face on their porch.

"I got it!" Sky declared, pointing his finger upward, "We go around town asking who thinks which costume is better!"

"Not a bad idea! Whoever wins gets a reward, right?" Charlie said with a muffled voice, blocked by the plastic he could see out of in his costume.

"The reward is... a whole week off of work!" Sky declared. With the declaration of a vacation, the five jumped from the porch and onto the road with tons of other people dressed in cat costumes, dog costumes, nurse costumes, and so much more.

Shiro started to follow Lia from afar, with a toy cowboy on his back bouncing around as Shiro moved his nimble body. While Shiro ran, Ellios was being dragged in his alien costume, which was clad with two long sticks on the head with cotton balls on the very end. He bounced along the dirt as Rin and Ren joined him.

The twins were dressed in blue and red robes, searching for the same opinions that Sky and the others were. Once they caught on, they settled their feet into the cement path and followed behind as fast as they could.

"Hey! My costume is cooler than theirs, right?!"

"Who looks better? Me, right?!

"Ahhhh,"

"I inquire that there is a clear winner here, don't you think?"

Sky, Dani, Charlie, and Carl all respectively said their pieces through crowds of people all along Alicas, jumping from door to door. Sky seemed confused by the true point of Halloween, watching kids and even some adults bounce from house to house with the intent of taking candy out of red bowls. Sky searched for the purpose, even while behind Dani and the others.

"I have thirteen votes!"

"I have twelve! I'll get you!"

"I have twenty,"

"I have six! What is this nonsense!"

Again, Sky, Dani, Charlie, and Carl all respectively called out their votes, when the four settled into a crowd of people all gathered together, smiling widely to see who liked which costume better. Dani and Carl started to ask around the individual people, but Sky got up on stage and cleared his throat before beginning a loud speech.

"Excuse me, people of Alicas!"

"Ahhh! It's Sky!"

Girls fawned over Sky and laughed over Charlie as the two revealed themselves, and Sky opened up with his plea.

"Which costume is better? Mine? Or the dinosaur?!" He shouted out. The crowd began to chant for Charlie's costume as all sorts of dressed-up people, who looked unfamiliar to Sky, dragged Charlie off of the stage and started carrying him around.

"I can't see!" Charlie shouted out.

The chaotic nature of the day had left Sky with a loss, but even still, he smiled, laughing as Charlie was stolen away from him. Sky jumped into the crowd, swimming through people like the waves in the ocean in search of his friend.

As Mandi, Ruby, Umbra, Hikari, and Avie all came out from around the corner, they witnessed what was going on with Sky and the others, and immediately jumped into the crowd as the Arkians coalesced into one point. 

Ruby smiled aggressively at the opportunity, picking up her camera and raising it high, catching everybody in the same picture with different poses.

With Sky and Charlie being thrown around in the crowd, Dani pointing to them with worry in her face, and Carl holding his magnifying glass up, the Arkians all noticed the camera in their peripheral vision, some even smiling at the opportunity.
