Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

"When you're brutally eaten alive, to the point where I can see your organs functioning on the outside of your body, will you be able to smile at me and tell me not to kill for you? That merciless murder inflicted on you, would that be less than what it would take to break that stupid mindset you have?" I asked him in irritation.

Carl shook his head. "It's not a stupid mindset, it's just one you're not ready to hear." He said.

I grabbed him by his collar and pulled him closer to me, debating whether I should punch him or not.

"Look at yourself right now. You want to hurt me because I'm making a good point, that doesn't make you a leader, that makes you a follower. You're so captivated by that rage in your head that you'd even hurt me. I wonder what Dani would think of that. I wonder what she would have to say for you to want to hurt her as well." He commented. I instantly dropped Carl and backed off.

"I-I'm sorry. Something just took my mind over… I couldn't control that." I paused, looking back at the fire. That's not what my intention was... I just don't want Carl to get hurt too.

"Carl, those words that Ellie once saw in my vision, do you remember that?" I asked him. He nodded.

"More appeared before I killed Raven… they called me the White Stone of Wrath… is this my whole personality now?!"

[Sky – White Stone of Wrath]

[Personality: 10% Wrath]

[System Reawakening: 20%]

"Do you see that?!" I pointed towards the darkened sky, where I thought I saw it… but to my own surprise, it was only on my blinded side. I could see the words perfectly now, but Carl couldn't even begin to see them.

"I am Sky, the White Stone of Wrath… my personality is ten percent Wrath, and my System is twenty percent reawakened… what does this all mean?" I said out loud.

"Are you back to me now? What should we do going forward?" He asked me. He adjusted himself in the sand and stared at the fire with me.

There was a certain portion of me that wanted to kill Orion, Lia, and Ellie, but if this was the gateway to hurting my own friends to gain my goals, then I couldn't follow that path. No matter the itch it caused me in my head, I had to stay a good leader for everybody else.

"It's obvious that if we stay here, we'll just be attacked again. Ellie knew about our position, so she'll report it back to Orion… then we need to move while we still have the chance. Tomorrow, we'll make a ton of carts." I told him.

I looked at the ocean, but the waves were missing. Tons of ice sheets were on the surface… was the ocean freezing over? Could we walk south and make it to a new land possibly?

--Zeal's Perspective--

"Do you want to explain to me how the HELL you let your Nomad Stone go missing and your White Stone corrupt?! Do you have any idea how bad this is?!" I yelled at Orion in a harsh tone. He really has no idea what he's done.

"We're preparing, don't worry." He simply said, shrugging and looking back toward his base.

"That's not enough!" I yelled again. I slammed my hands on his weak, wooden table, breaking it and collapsing the supports, falling to the floor in a mess of broken wood and nails.

"Yeah, I guess you can break my table, that's fine. You know… I wonder why I should listen to you… Zeal." Orion said. He drew his sword and held it pointed at me.

"The rules of the system are that you're an invader of this Isle, right? You don't belong to this Isle, so why in the world should I let you order me around on my property?" He asked me.

Just who was this guy?!

"Why?! Because I oversee everything! If it weren't for me, you would've fallen to corruption and caused an apocalyptic event!" I yelled at him again, but Orion dismissed it.

"I saw the notification, the White Stone here corrupted his system, so would it matter if I did it as well now?" He asked me with a dull stare.

I punched Orion in the face with my immense speed before he could slash at me. He hit the wall and dropped the blade, falling to the floor and smiling.

"That White Stone who corrupted his system... if he's not already dead from the excruciating pain that follows, that means he's extremely powerful," I told Orion. Xian entered the transporter after my sentence and Demos and Elo followed as well.

"Here's where you went. Yo, Orion, what the hell are you doing?! We all have jobs to fulfill, and you lazily let that White Stone corrupt himself? You should've been hunting him, preferably YOU, not your slaves." Xian said. He got it right on the dot, I knew that kid wasn't that stupid.

"And what of Talion? Where is he?" Demos asked after.

"Not sure, don't really care. He obviously didn't take care of Sky, so I sent my people to do it." Orion told us. I paused for a moment… Orion was right.

Talion left over a month ago from Orion's home, why didn't the White Stone die a month ago?

"Interesting… Orion, what else happened a month ago? What can you tell me?" I asked him, changing my tone. He began to think.

"A month ago, was when I got the notification with you guys. Talion departed and not much happened here besides the construction of my coliseum, which is now complete. Over there though… I sent my best man, Dante, and my best slave, Lia, over to stop the White Stone. Although Dante was the only one to come back, Lia is still missing." Orion said. I paused to process the information.

"Talion said he hated how you treated that girl, the one who picked up the broken glass with her teeth… no way… did Talion get ahold of that girl?" I was thinking out loud, but Orion nodded with me.

"It makes sense. You pointed him in the right direction, and that was the direction I sent both that Failure and Dante. Logically speaking, they had to have crossed paths at one point." He said. Orion was finally being helpful.

I turned in that same direction I sent him. "System, Find Me All White Stones on this Isle," I said, turning in the same direction I sent Talion a month ago. In a visible map made by the strands I unlocked long ago, it traced out all general locations from the Stones.

"Woah… I didn't know you could do that." Xian said.

I pointed at the area near the east side of the Isle.

"We have one White Stone here, one at the beach, and the five of us here in the North. Orion, did Dante come from down South, or due east?" I asked him. Orion explained that he came from the south.

"Then we know where Talion is. Sky, that Corrupt Stone, is down South. We'll head there immediately and finish this job. Demos, are you ready with your ability? We'll freeze him in place and move forward like that." Demos nodded.

"Let's move. Orion, that means you too." I demanded from Orion. I walked towards the exit and noticed Orion wasn't moving.

"My Isle. My rules. I think I'll just stay here." He told me.

[System Alert! Corruption is at 10%]

I turned back and looked at Orion. "I'll give you every single slave I have back on Earth if you help us right now." I told him.

His wicked smile lit up the room, "That's all you had to say. Moon, darling, I'll be back." He said. Orion put on his coat and followed closely behind.

We all exited the castle on the glacier and the cold wind blew in our faces.

"Just south for the day and we'll meet the White Stone finally." I said, grinning at Orion. He seemed a lot more excited now that slaves were a part of the deal. I wondered why he cared so much for the slaves.
