Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Introducing: Chilambo

---Location: Chilambo (Old Africa)---

As my body came back into existence with the help of Golden Strands, I regained control of my body about six feet in the air above a person with red hair. At first glance, she appeared to be Nova. I primed an attack but fell onto the ground in front of them as my legs turned into gelatin once more.

"Woah, where did you come from? Are you okay?" The girl asked me.

"I'm fine..." I hesitated, realizing what happened to my body before asking for help. Looking down at my legs, the both of us barely had any reaction to my status.

"You don't exactly look fine... with those legs. Are you able to move on your own? Do you have a wheelchair or something?" The red-haired girl asked me. I was almost astonished by her neutrality with my legs.

"No... I don't know what happened to me. They just kind of did this. Hold on," I said. I pushed Golden Strands into my legs, forming the bone from the inside and pushing myself back up.

"Oh... wow, that's impressive..." The red-haired girl told me. She took notice to my left hand and the chunk of skin that was revealed from my removed White Stone while I looked around.

I wasn't sure about the place I was in, but there were green trees everywhere. Homes made from dried mud and straw lined the top of taller slabs of rocks, and like stairs, homes were placed inside of the cubbies between each one. I was impressed with the architecture present around me, but because I was in a lower part, I couldn't see everything else.

[PREDICTION: YOU WILL BE ATTACKED]

I rose my hand up and caught the wrist of the knife-wielding, red-haired girl in front of me. With her only eye uncovered by an eye patch, she glared at me with the intent to kill.

"What used to be on your hand?" She asked bravely, even if I was holding her from killing me.

"A White Stone, what of it?" I explained. She narrowed her eyes even more, then glanced at my hair color.

"I don't remember seeing you on the Ice-covered bay. Which one are you? Elo? Demos?" She asked me.

I peered at her for a moment, trying to figure out how she knew that stuff.

"You... are Red?" I asked her.

She kicked me backward and slid on the ground, holding the knife close to her chest in defense.

"Bullshit, how do you know that name? Who are you?!" She screamed out to me. Thankfully, we were in private, but it was still concerning to see her reaction.

"I... saw it all. You aren't going to believe me, but I am Sky's daughter." I told Red.

"...huh?" She asked with a dumbfounded stare. I could tell there was confusion present, so I did my best to clean it up.

"Not biologically... well, sort of. Four hundred years ago before he was reincarnated, I was born to contain some of his power and defend him from projectiles. I know, that sounds like bullshit... but it's true. I thought you died... how are you alive?" I asked her.

"I don't know whether I can trust you or not. Can you prove your Sky's daughter somehow?" She proposed to me. She wanted a clue, but I had nothing...

"I can't prove that without him, but I can tell you some unique stuff. Like, the White Stone Statue, the fight with Ullr, Domin's death, I witnessed it all from his perspective... is that enough?" I said. I almost said more than I should've, forgetting that Red was absent for a large majority of Sky's life.

"I guess not everybody would be able to know that... okay, fine. I was taken by that 'animal.'" She hand quoted, "it was a submarine meant to transport me to Earth, to my sister, Ultima. Some stuff happened and I lost my eye in the process."

"I'm sorry. I'm glad to see you're okay. Maybe Sky and Dani will be happy to see you again." I said out loud. Red's eyes lit up in fascination.

"He's... still alive?! And, Dani?!" She yelled out. I noticed that she must've thought everybody died... I had to fill her in.

"Yeah! Sky, Dani, Carl... they're all alive. But... the path was tough. They sustained injuries and were saved by my mother... she died recently, and Sky has been keeping them safe--"

"I want to see them! Please! Bring me to them!" Red begged me, dropping to her knees and bowing her head to the ground.

"Hey! There's no need to do that! I would've done that anyway... there's just a few things I wanted to tell you about the old group..." I told her. She picked her head back up and stood back on her feet.

"Ellie... Ullr... and Xavier didn't make it. A lot of people died, but of those that you know, that's all." I told her again.

"What of the White Stones? Did Sky win?"

"In a landside. The White Stones of the old times were killed by each other and Sky and my mother, and Sky recruited new White Stones to take their place. I was one of them." I told her.

"Wow... it sounds like he did a good job being their leader. How do we get to them? I'll do whatever it takes," Red told me with solidified resolve.

"As soon as I figure out where we are, I might have a clue... but the problem is the foes ahead. Ultima and Sky's sister... oh, I suppose that's an interesting mix. Your sister and Sky's sister... oh yeah, he has a sister." I found myself tripping on my explanations, trying to explain everything to Red as I continued.

"Anyway, Sky and Dani are both sealed, but I can bring you to Carl, I think. He's in Antarctica. How do we get there from here?" I asked Red. She stared blankly, then pointed south.

"Go that way," She stated shortly. I was confused, looking toward what she was pointing at, to reveal a boat floating on the water filled with waves.

"What the... was that always there? Can we take that to Antarctica? Which way do we sail?" I asked Red. She nodded, explaining how that was her boat she used to sail from that place to here in search for answers about her friends.
