"We won't let you fight this alone, Eo! Guys, we can do this." I yelled out to everybody. We all pulled out weaponry upright and held it tightly.
This was sudden and unbecoming of our old standing. We were exhausted... but our time for rest was on the horizon, and Illya was the hill blocking it.
"You got that right!" Mitra agreed with me and as Eo kept a straight face and rushed in, we followed right behind her.
Illya's face turned serious and she reacted to Eo's attacks by countering.
Illya took the hit directly to the middle of her saber and used her offhand to summon another one.
The glittery strands that came out of the handle were disrupted by Boo's katana pushing up against it as well. Eo wasn't alone in this endeavor!
I summoned a spear of ice and jumped off of a foothold Alexia made for me by clasping her fingers together. I was high in the air and charging the spear of ice back as Illya was too occupied to block it... but Eo wasn't wrong. Illya was smarter than that.
Six appendages shot out of her back while wildly flowing in the wind. Four of them defused the attacks from Mitra and Myth, and the other two caught my spear of ice before it could connect with Illya's head. Illya's closed eyes opened up and she looked around at everybody surrounding her with attacks.
"Is it my turn yet?" She asked.
The spears of ice from two of her six appendages shot back at me and pierced my left shoulder. I threw my saber at Illya and she tucked her head down and to the right. As she did that, she headbutted Boo out of position, swept Eo's ankles out from under her, and launched Mitra and Myth backward with a shockwave of air from how fast her appendages were moving.
"This is a battle of attrition you won't win. You better show me some things I'm not expecting." Illya said. She turned back to Eo.
Eo was panting heavily and gripping her chest... I was worried about her, but it looks like this is taking a toll on her that we can't define. We just needed to be here for her.
"Belle... everybody... stay out of the way..." Eo said. Her eyes lit up in a purple color, just like Illya's saber, and she muttered words that seemed confusing to me.
"System... ANNIHILATE!" She screamed out.
Strands exploded out of Eo's head and wrapped around it tightly. Her hair shifted from a white to black color, and the look on her face was devoid of any emotion. She closed the distance between Illya and her in a flash of light and clashed together with Illya's saber.
Illya was launched backward from the power, but Eo didn't stop there. I wasn't there to witness the fight between Ali and Providence, but I assume this was the caliber of the fight itself.
I'm still barely stronger than I was against Famine, yet I was here fighting somebody who could've fought all four Horsemen at once.
Illya slid onto the ground and reclaimed her footing, but Eo was already there again. She feinted a swing with her saber and slammed her knee into the bottom of Illya's chin... yet Illya didn't move.
Then, Illya placed her hand on Eo's chest and blew it up. It wasn't subtle, nor a portion of her chest, but Eo's entire chest, including the space connecting her arms to her body and head to her body, was all gone. I found myself at a loss for words. I couldn't fathom the amount of power that would've taken... but Eo didn't die from that.
In fact... her body was reinforced with Golden Strands and she refocused on Illya. Illya even looked scared as Eo grabbed onto her neck.
"System Recall Armament," Eo muttered.
In a split second, a saber flew into her hands through Illya's hair. Illya just barely dodged out of the way in time and a shockwave of air knocked her off balance, which Eo took advantage of.
Eo flipped her body up and axe-kicked Illya's skull into the ground while she was off-balance.
The ground cracked underneath the two and a burst of wind knocked me over. I was completely lost while watching the two fight... but even still, Illya wasn't injured or sweating.
"Futile. You know my strength, you used to be my Secretary. Yet, you still waste your breath here." Illya told Eo.
As Eo walked steadily over to Illya, she smirked and glanced back at me.
"Illya does have a limit. And you will find it." She told me.
Summoning another weapon in her left hand, Eo ran at Illya again. This time, Illya grabbed onto another saber from far away, pulled it toward herself, and side-stepped Eo's charge. The way it was looking, Illya could swing down and split Eo in half, but Eo flipped her body to face Illya on her left side and she smiled.
That's when ice shot out of Eo's stomach and pierced Illya's eyes.
It completely blinded her, and we took the opportunity to jump into the fight as well.
Boo rushed over with her katana again and slammed it against Illya's neck, but it didn't go through. I charged in with a spear of ice on Illya's front side, and Alexia waited on her backside to enlarge it through her chest.
I slammed it into the dead center of Illya's chest and only made it about halfway before my arm snapped at the elbow, popping off like it was nothing.
Illya swung her body around and would've probably kicked Alexia's head off of her body, but Eo cut off her leg and held onto her arms to create an opening.
Mitra and Myth both swung in an X-Formation at her chest and finally, we got blood to spill from her body.
It was healed within an instant and Illya took all of us off of her body and slammed us into the walls of the upturned ground. We all panted for air as we just exerted a ton of energy.
Not to mention, my hair was beginning to turn cold from my ability usage. I was going to hit my limit soon.
"Don't joke around! I'm here to fight, not play." Illya said.
The atmosphere turned silent and the ground cracked underneath our feet as Illya snapped her fingers. Everything turned upwards and the ground rose and sunk in various places, splitting us all off from each other.
