I warped around the city with the fastest speed I could manage, coming head to head and crossing my forearm with Obsidia's. Making an X-pattern, we both locked eyes through the visible pressure of wind exuding from our positions and were shot back at an equal distance.
Obsidia crashed through the windows of a skyscraper, and I slid on the road, digging up enough concrete to make a building. Traffic lights fell beside me and plummeted to their absolute lowest point as shards of glass came out of the point of impact Obsidia made. She was making the second attack.
Obsidia charged her fist back, pushing a sickle out of her forearm with the intention on cutting me in half. I amassed as many Golden Strands as I could, blocking the hit, and tripping her on her journey to my location.
She flew right beside my head, however, not before I could grab onto her ankle and send her back into the building where she came from. As soon as she left my grip, I summoned hundreds of icicles above her to impale her on her way.
She crashed through the windows and tore the foundation of the building up, making a noise so loud and adamant that it sounded like a bomb had gone off.
Obsidia walked out of the building as if she had taken no damage, and with a snap of her fingers, a large, spherical hole appeared behind her, causing the building to tip backward.
"I'm impressed! I didn't know you could hit so strong already! Must be all that stretching, right?" Obsidia asked. A horn started to grow on the left side of her head.
"Don't give me too much credit!" I said. I searched for an opening in her defenses, noticing that directly behind her may be the best bet. "I haven't even really started yet, have you?"
I warped behind her with the speed I had been practicing with. A golden saber scattered across the ground and appeared in my hand, allowing me to swipe up before Obsidia could even react.
Instead of turning her body, her ribs shot out of her back and blocked the saber, impaling my shoulder and scratching my face while exploding like a grenade. The shrapnel of bone chunks scathed my body and sunk the building further into the ground, allowing it to fall like a tree in the forest.
"Nah, not really." She smiled.
Obsidia turned around with her large, bone-fragmented sickles on her body, attempting to slash my head straight off of my body. I grabbed onto the length of the blade and crunched it underneath my hand, kicking her wrist, wrapping my leg around her head, and throwing her upward through the falling building.
She shot through every floor as if I launched her out of a cannon, slowing herself down by bending rebar in an attempt to redirect her momentum toward me.
Glass exploded out of the building and with a simple cut upward with my golden saber, I cut the building in half, from bottom to top, and ruined her attempt to launch toward me.
She shot into the ground and twisted, aiming for my back while I was turned.
I could feel her attempt to hit me with her bone fragments and twisted my head backward to activate the Gaze of Wrath.
The pressure emitted disrupted a hidden tactic with Khalil's strange aura. The saber shot out of my hand and stuck into one half of the building, falling with the same flow of gravity. She manipulated her aura to only strike my hands so she had a perfect opportunity to hit me with her sickle...what did she want?
Obsidia twisted her body in a strange way, where it was plainly visible that her bones were cracking and melting from the pressure of her bending skin. I quickly used my mom's ability to keep the building held together and launch myself into the floors above.
Once I landed on the fifth floor, I looked underneath me to find a cloak flapping in the wind.
"Where did she--" I was cut off with a kick to the back, launching me further into the floor. I couldn't grapple myself back to my feet. I was forced to watch Obsidia warp under the wind as she made it closer and closer to me. She kicked me once more, bouncing me off of the ceiling, and the floor, and then through the side of the building once again.
I was able to pull the building closer to me with the gravity once more, collapsing all stones on each other of the skyscraper, and hitting Obsidia in the chest with every single one at once.
She was hit around two hundred times by separate stone bricks, penetrating her chest and forcing her to fly into the other half of the skyscraper left unscathed. Using gravity, I collapsed that one as well, trapping her within a mix of stone at the dead center of her point of impact.
"I'm impressed! Your ability to move buildings is quite amazing! But nothing in the face of the bloodlines." Obsidia told me.
With a snap of her fingers, the aura from before emitted from her position. Stone bricks were sent flying into all other buildings around us, breaking various windows and caving the abandoned roads in with their force.
I sent Golden Strands at her once more, and she successfully dodged each one, closing the distance in between us as she ran forward. I summoned a Red Saber and slashed downward at the ground in front of her. However, Obsidia jumped over the slash and tilted her head backward with the palm of her hand opened up to the back of my hand.
"GO--" I shut her mouth with the force of gravity, pushing her further up into the air and bouncing the Red Saber off of the gravity until it impaled her throat. She spit up blood and leaked profuse amounts as she healed, but I wouldn't let up.
I kicked her once in the side, flipping my body to kick her on the opposite side of her body from the first kick, and landed three clean punches to her shoulder, chest, and stomach all at once. She was hit with the impact all at the same time and was sent into a pole that caused traffic lights to fall onto the road again.
With the sparking, failing electronics in their systems, I floated over them, closing my eyes on her position as she healed her wounds.
