--Shike's Perspective--
I took a heavy hit and I was definitely out for the next fight, but Miss Ali and Mister Lucas were both walking together toward Providence.
"There we go! Team Asterio is back in commission! So, are you two ready yet?!" Providence shouted out toward them.
Lucas summoned two golden sabers and his eyes lit up in their golden color. It made me queasy while even looking at his eyes.
Lucas wasn't the only one with a change. Ali had two different colored eyes. One black, and one purple. Ali summoned two golden sabers as well and the battlefield came to a complete stop as one last smile shot out of Providence.
I couldn't even perceive what happened next.
Ali and Lucas had such an intense burst of speed that I didn't even know where they went. A shockwave of wind emerged from their previous positions and when I looked at Providence, she was blocking four sabers with two of her own.
"There it is! I've been waiting for this... for so long!" She smiled.
Ali flipped over and tried to kick Providence in the face, but Providence dodged, moving around to Lucas's back, and attempting to hit him.
They were moving so fast I could barely keep track of them!
Providence was taken down and thrown to the ground after Lucas had a lucky hit with his saber.
She bounced a few times but recovered with a burst of speed that collided with Lucas.
The ground underneath them cracked.
I wasn't even sure how to deal with this display of power, watching three godlike figures fight each other with what looked like no end brought a sense of anxiety over me. What if I get hit in the crossfire?
No... their moves are too calculated for that. Providence was moving with an insane burst of speed every time her feet hit the ground and when her saber collided with Ali's or Lucas's, the same shockwave of wind followed.
Ali jumped off Lucas's back, enlarged her saber to form a golden ring, and swung it around in a wide formation.
Providence flipped over the attack, deflected Lucas's strike, and landed on the ground. Before the saber could come back and hit her, she ducked underneath it, tripped Lucas, and slammed her saber into his stomach... or so I thought?
Lucas moved so fast that an afterimage of his body turned into smoke at the point of impact and the tip of his foot collided with the side of Providence's head. She took the hit, grabbed onto his ankle, and tried to slam him to the ground.
Before she could slam him, Ali came in and cut her forearm, forcing her to let go of Lucas's ankle, and the two of them slammed their sabers into opposite sides of Providence's body. She absorbed both of the hits, smiled, and then flipped upward, smashing the ground underneath her and digging up more rocks and dirt than I have ever seen before.
With the dug-up ground, Ali kicked a rock to Lucas, who slammed his fist into the rock, and connected a hit straight into Providence's face with the saber.
When the smoke dispersed, it was revealed that she caught it with her teeth?!
Providence wrapped her legs around Lucas's neck, threw him aside, and almost cut him in half. Ali had blocked her vertical strike leading upwards and slammed her fist into her face. Providence, on the other hand, blocked the hit with her forearm, punched Ali in the stomach three times before she could react, and then kicked her in the head to push her away from Lucas.
The three came to a standstill, with Ali and Lucas panting heavily, and Providence finally breaking a sweat.
"It is so nice to finally fight Team Asterio again! I finally feel... ALIVE!" Providence said. Her body illuminated with golden strands that dug into the ground, lifting the loose rocks that she broke apart earlier.
How do I even explain what has happened in this fight?! Everything is so baffling that I can't even perceive this anymore...
The bursts of speed that followed, as Providence and her swinging ensued upon Ali and Lucas, it was all too much! How are they keeping up with her?!
Providence ran in by Ali and started swinging at her while deflecting Lucas's strikes. Ali did her best to keep up, but Providence eventually triumphed and if it weren't for Lucas, Ali would've been decapitated by Providence. She seemed to recognize this and clicked her tongue as Lucas stood between them. He took the lead in the fight next.
Lucas flipped his body with every swing he landed on Providence, causing her to dodge and move backward to miss his attacks. Lucas swung so fast with two sabers that Providence couldn't even keep up and looked to find an opening to fight with Ali... but Lucas wasn't giving her a break.
I could see the fatigue build-up with Lucas, and now with Providence as he was breaking her composure and stance, and he kept going. It didn't even seem like he was breathing, but now, sweat was flying everywhere and the look in Providence's eyes were starting to grow dimmer in expression.
Was she... losing? What kind of powerhouse is Lucas? Why didn't he tell us before?!
Lucas made one slip up with a millimeter in a margin of error, and Providence took the lead. She collided with the handle of his saber, cut his metallic arm in half, and kicked him in the chest, creating another shockwave and pushing him back.
The most terrifying thing about this... was that Ali was believed to be the strongest. What is she holding back?
I couldn't explain the colors that followed with Ali's sabers... but they were changing. It looked as if a rainbow was flowing in the middle of her sabers as the golden color illuminated the field.
Ali charged in and swiped at Providence, keeping a straight face and stabbing, slashing, flipping, dodging, and everything in the book as Providence couldn't land a hit.
Ali's face even started to shift now. Her black eye was illuminated into a grey color now, her face had a weird pattern on it as well. With three lines hovering over her nose ridge and four triangles, two above and below her eyes that pointed in the opposite direction from the others, the image on her face flickered as she continued her fight with Providence.
Suddenly, as Ali cut Providence in half and caused her to regenerate, everything came to a standstill again.
"You're really doing that? You'll break the loop, you know... and if Sky can't beat Providia... then it's over for you. You won't reawaken in the loop when you die here and Sky doesn't succeed." Providence panted, explaining something complicated to Ali.
"I don't have to worry about that... because my son won't lose to your lackey." Ali boldly stated.
