The Fireworks Banquet

"Alright, next, I'll light the candles for you," Lin Han said without much explanation. He took out several candles and placed them on the cake. With a flick of his hand, the candles ignited, three flames dancing on top.

"What are you doing?" Shen Mengyao was a bit puzzled, not understanding why Lin Han was inserting candles. But the dim light from the candles combined with the look of the cake seemed to have a kind of unique beauty to it.

"Next, close your eyes and make a wish. But remember, don't say it aloud," Lin Han said with a gentle smile.

"A wish?" Shen Mengyao lifted her head and looked at Lin Han, a hint of doubt apparent in her eyes.

"Yes, after you make your wish, we'll blow out these candles together. Your wish will surely come true," Lin Han said, smiling happily. He had put much effort into making this cake.
