Kidnapped

Hells Demons were a motorcycle gang founded in Texas by military vets. However, they had chapters (divisions) all over the southern states. Oklahoma also had a chapter and Roy Carlson was the Vice President of it. Hells Demons mostly earned money by selling drugs and guns on the street. That did not mean they turned away the occasional quick buck.

This time Roy's brother and club treasurer Brody was blowing off steam at the casino when he saw a boy winning money left and right. That day the boy won nearly a $100,000 and continued to do so for the rest of the week. Brody brought the incident up with Roy and persuaded him that this was easy money.

Roy decided to call the members for a vote, to see if they should try to kidnap and extort this kid. As he had Brody explain the details to the rest of the club, Roy tried to gauge everyone. Technically speaking motorcycle gangs were a type of democracy and every member would vote on club decisions. However, the reality was most clubs were split into factions with a couple of top leaders commanding a faction. His faction was the biggest and the only threat was President Steve.

Steve was old-school, he understood nowadays motorcycle gangs had to do certain things to make a living and he was okay with most of it. In contrast, he always said don't mess with civilians. He never wanted the average people to get caught in their gang wars or get hurt in the process. Personally Roy thought Steve was too soft; after all, veterans know that civilian casualties are a part of the war.

The vote passed and the majority voted in favor of it. The kid earned close to a million dollars during the week and he was all alone. The easy money was too much for Steve to argue against. Roy did not care much for the money, even though he would get a large cut. He just wanted to build up a negative image of Steve and eventually take the throne.

After all, he knew that in his hands the club would be worth much more. The ambush was set to be in the kid's motel and the plan was to bring him to Roy's ranch which is nice and isolated. Hopefully, the kid has cash on him, if not they would have to do an electronic transfer. The kid dies either way as it would be too dangerous to just let him go. The meeting was dismissed with everyone going to prepare for the kidnapping.

Brody headed to the casino to keep watch and alert the gang when the kid heads home. Roy and his friend Sam headed to the motel and quietly broke into the room. After a while, they heard keys jingling as the kid starting to unlock the door. Sam was standing in front of the door with his gun ready and Roy was waiting by the door with a bat ready to knock the kid out. As the door opened the kid walked in and saw Sam; Sam told him to raise his hands and Roy decked him before he could react. They waited until it was pitch black outside and dragged him to the van and headed to the ranch.

Michael had a severe headache as he gradually woke up. He looked around; he was in the back of a van and he was tied up. He could easily break the ropes and escape, but he had no idea where he was or who kidnapped him. He wanted to find out more about his kidnappers and their true intentions. Since they dared hurt Michael, he would not hold back against them either. His biggest concern was whether these captors are sent by the casino.

He did not think that the money he won was much for the casino but maybe their tolerance was lower than what he expected. If that is true then his plans to make money from casinos would go down the drain and they were too aggressive to mess with. He wasn't worried about his life as he was confident the captors wouldn't kill him until they receive the money so he was safe for now. He regretted not buying combat skills as soon as he had the money.

"System is there any way to get out of here?" Michael hoped the miraculous system had a way for him to get out of this mess.

[ Host should get out of this situation by yourself. You should have bought some skills earlier as you already had enough money. Now you must deal with it yourself. An emperor must not be intimidated by kidnappers.]

Oh, great thanks for nothing then. Michael was confident he could beat the captors but one of them had a gun. He wondered if he could absorb the gun into his inventory.

[Host must upgrade the inventory in order to unlock remote collection. Currently, host must come into skin contact with an object to absorb it into the inventory.]

There goes that possibility. However, Michael did not miss the hint system mentioned. It said he must have skin contact, not touch with his hands. That meant when the gun is pointed at his head he could immediately absorb it. It was a stupidly risky plan, but that was the only choice he had now.

He tried listening in to the kidnappers but he couldn't hear anything because now they were on an unpaved road and the car was constantly making noises.

Michael silently waited for what seemed like an eternity until the van finally slowed down and parked. There was a blindfold over his head so he couldn't see anything. The captors dragged Michael and placed him in a chair and then they finally pulled the blindfold off.

There were eleven guys in motorcycle jackets surrounding him. It looked like he was in some kind of remote ranch.

"Hello Michael, We just wanted to have a little chat. See we noticed you won a lot of money at the casino this past week. Nearly $1 million and well you see we are a little tight on cash so we were wondering if you could help us out?" The guy on the front who introduced himself as Brody explained.

Michael was relieved to find out that they were not sent from the casino. If he got out alive he could continue with the plan; He just has to be way more careful.

They rummaged through Michael's backpack only to find clothes in it. They weren't stupid enough to think he would keep all that cash in the backpack were they? "All the cash was deposited in the bank. I don't have any of it" Michael replied.

"Well that's alright we are going to get the money either ways. You have a checkbook, don't you? Write us a check." Another man who looked like the leader ordered.

"I don't have a checkbook, never used them." Michael replied. He really never had a checkbook as it costs money and he never had a use for it.

"Sam and Pete you guys go back to his room and see if he has a checkbook. Brody and William stay here and watch over our friend Michael here. Rest of you all come with me; I need to grab the satellite laptop to do an electronic transfer in case he doesn't have a check and we need to have a little chat" the leader ordered them.

Except for the two who are meant to guard Michael, the rest got on their motorcycles and left. Michael surveyed the place; it looked like a ranch but it was probably used by the gang to store weapons and drugs before selling them. He didn't know how long the guys were going to be gone for so he had to escape quickly.

After waiting for 15 minutes he set the plan in motion. "Hey I need to take a piss" Michael said.

"Just piss right there. Don't try to trick us." Brody obviously was not buying the act.

"Nah man I don't want to clean up the mess if he pisses on the garage floor" William was probably the least ranked member of the gang and therefore in charge of cleaning; so he was not happy with Brody's declaration.

"William it's just piss man. This place already smells like shit. What if he tries to escape? Roy will hang us." Brody disagreed. He seemed really afraid of this Roy. Michael assumed Roy was the leader.

"Hey man we got guns and he is tied up. He cannot escape" William replied. They argued back and forth for a while and Brody finally gave in to William. William grabbed Michael and put a gun on his head and walked him to a bush nearby.

"Now don't try anything funny and just piss-" Before William could finish the pistol in his hand that was resting against Michael's head disappeared. Michael snapped the rope tying his hand with sheer strength and turned around and knocked William out. Poor guy, he was still trying to figure out how the gun disappeared.

Michael cautiously circled back and saw Brody watching the TV. Michael shot him twice in the head and killed him. He grabbed the gun and went back to William. He woke William up and questioned him. "Tell me everything about how you guys found me and who you are working for."

William spilled everything without hesitating. After listening to everything Michael was relieved. It turns out that they were just a local motorcycle gang and did not know much about him other than his name and how much money he made approximately at the casino.

Michael then shot him, killing him mercifully. For some reason, he didn't feel much after his first kill. He knew these guys would kill him anyway so it was them or him.

He then scourged the ranch and found a stash of guns and drugs. There were pistols, shotguns, and even assault rifles. These guys had a full armory here. He placed all the guns in his inventory and left the drugs.

He then searched for a safe; these guys were bound to have some cash stashed here. He found a safe inside what seemed to be a home office. It was number locked and he did not have the code; However, he just shot it up with a shotgun and opened it.

He found some cash and documents inside. These were about $140,000 in cash; He immediately absorbed it into the store and exchanged the cash into credits.

After cleaning out the ranch of anything useful he grabbed a gas canister and poured fuel all over the perimeter. He grabbed a lighter and let it all burn. He thought about staying back to finish everyone off but it was too risky so Michael decided against it. He had taken a driver education course in high school so he knew how to drive. Michael entered the van and drove away; as he was driving he looked at the present he left for Roy in the rear-view mirror and smiled.

Hope you guys enjoy the chapter. Let me know in the comments if you find any mistakes.
