Attack satellite

The attack on the main city of maus by the Cybran Commonwealth continues to escalate as the commonwealth deploy ther experimentally The Megalith II.

They are continuously be pumped out of the factory and been ordered to attack the city using Advance laser weaponry.

As the Cybran commanders continues to pump out more land units, out of their factories and a lot of fighter craft.

All of the collective fire power has been ordered to attack the last standing city that has been resisting the commonwealth occupation of the planet, but it seems that resistance is about to end.

Both Miranda and Cassandra began ordering both air forces and land forces to converge on the last city for a final push hundreds of units both land and air began the mobilization. Slowly, they converged on the last city, firing their lasers and artillery shells.

It seems all hope all is lost for the UEF that this could be their final stand on this planet.

However, Captain Anderson, the UEF commander, defending the city deployed the experimental weapon that the egg heads have been working on.

After finishing the construction of the control, node it fired into the atmosphere a small satellite.

Slowly, up in space above the planet, the satellite began to deploy its weaponry firing a massive laser onto the enemy army annihilating their experimental weapons with a single shot.

Both Miranda and Cassandra are shocked as they begin analyzing this new weapon using their advanced analyzation tools.

After several minutes, they both came to the conclusion it's some type of attack satellite, discharging shit tons of power to fire ther devastating weaponry.

Not wanting to waste time Captain Anderson ordered is a new attack satellite to begin annihilating the enemy land forces since the attack satellite cannot target fast-moving objects in the air.

He just has to make do with eliminating the enemy forces on the ground.

Slowly, the commonwealth forces began to slowly be annihilated unit by unit fire base to fire base was being destroyed, and the Commonwealth had no counterattack towards the satellite for now.

Cassandra: this isn't fucking fair we were winning!!!!! How are we supposed to take this world now?

Cassandra expressed her displeasure over the development of the situation. However, it was Miranda her comrade in arms that answered her question.

Miranda: we don't our mission was to distract the UEF forces towards this planet, and we succeeded more so than we thought however, now we must retreat. We have completed our mission. There's no point in staying and dying.

Cassandra did not like that answer but she understood what that meant. Their orders were completed their mission a success, but she is angry that she couldn't liberate this world from the oppressive government of the UEF.

Now she will not forget the commander responsible for this defeat in her eyes, captain Anderson she will remember that name, and next time he will not survive their encounter she swore this as she and Miranda began performing quantum recall.

Teleporting both of them back to the command center several planets over into their territory, thus ending the conflict on maus.

Thanks to the distraction provided by both Cassandra and Miranda the commonwealth was able to take a lease a dozen world surrounding maus sector of space.

The Commonwealth has already destroyed the quantum gates, linking these worlds to UEF territory, and as a commonwealth, beginning to build their own version of quantum gates, to where only day with the proper codes could use.

It was a great day for the commonwealth, and not so of a great day for the UEF however, this has changed the landscape of the Infinite war now that a fourth faction has made itself known.

How will the other powers of the Galaxy react to this, especially the Cybran nation?
