Military drills

Vather slowly arrived before a gigantic dome as he checked his holographic watch whether he was the one who got it wrong but the arrow was still pointing forward at the black dome.

He slowly placed his hands on the dome causing a beep sound from his watch as he felt himself being immediately absorbed into the black dome.

He knew he only need to flare out his aura and he'll be free from the force dragging him but he reasoned there was no way another student could do that,so he just went with the flow,at least for now.

Vather arrived before a wide open area.There were plenty of students around him and he got quite the strange looks towards himself.It was mostly due to the blindfold he was wearing and the weird colour of his hair,but he was quickly ignored as he wasn't the only one with an eye bloodline in the new years group.

Vather slowly looked around the place as he headed to an area less crowdy when suddenly he could feel a familiar aura.Looking at a far edge in the place he could see Liam. Although he noticed something strange about him.Liam was the typical making friends around guy but he could be seen in the distance hugging his knees and looking down at the grass.Everyone seem to ignore him as he could see the distance they consciously put away from him.

Vather saw two students who just arrived like him and heading for where Liam was seating but immediately they saw it was him,they immediately took a 90 degrees turn as if he was the plague that started the devirs war.

Vather frowned at the act as Liam was someone he knew and he could be said to be his closest friend and the first person he has ever had contact with in the military.

Vather stopped moving in the opposite direction as he took a 180 degrees turn towards Liam.He could see the students looking at him and pointing their fingers at him with a self pity and mocking gaze but he ignored it as he moved towards him.

"Hey,Liam"Vather called out to Liam who immediately jerked up, showing his lack of concentration,as he wasn't even aware of someone standing before him.

"And who are you,you know you're getting yourself in trouble doing this.I'll advice you to leave if you don't want trouble."he said as he looked at the blindfold young man before him.

"I'm Vather,your best buddy right now."Vather said giving him a smile as he saw Liam's so called friends sitting faraway from him.

"Wait, you're Vather?. You've really changed a lot since the last time I saw you.Where have you been since all this while." he asked a small smile emerging on his downtrodden face.

"You know,just going here and there, accepted by a staff as their disciple and just went in a little mission around.Not really anything great although it sure took some time.So can you tell me what's going on around here."

"What do you mean going on around, nothing changed much since you've been gone,you know." he said feigning ignorance.

"Oh yeah,what about the trouble I'll get myself into if I approach you.Did you go offend some people in the military or you have a disease that's so damn good in keeping people off or something."Vather said as he chuckled while sitting beside him.

"You know if there was such a damn of a dise..."he was cut short as a man wearing a military uniform could be seen dropping down from the sky.All the chattering immediately quieted down as all the students placed their attention on the man.

"You'll all be starting your first military drill for today,and since it's the beginning of a new week, I think I might as well tweak things a little."The man said his voice echoing in the area but a kind of sinister smile could be seen on his face as he said that, making majority of the students look at him in fear,while some just have an uninterested face on them.

The man slowly clasped his hands together as his blue hair rose behind him.

"Bloodline ability:False Reality Animation"the man uttered as the blue wave of energy on his hair slowly spread out beneath his feet as they moved towards the far distance.

Vather saw the gravity in the place suddenly increase almost imperceptible as blue domes of energy could be seen far off the distance that went on an on to a gigantic mountain faraway.

"Your first drills today is to run to that mountain upahead,climb it and use the portal present on it to find your way out of here.

You'll be able to immediately leave here once you're done with that and you can go off to whatever next class you'll be having next.Simple don't you all agree.Ok you can all start."He said as he faded away into a blue beam of light in the next second.

Vather saw all the students immediately bolt off from where they were standing and immediately into the distance.Some simply sank into the floor and disappeared,a smile bump could be seen on the land as it moved with speed towards the distance.Eliana could be seen clapping her hands together as in the next second she was twenty metres away from where she was formerly.Wings tore out from some students back as they flapped it aiding them in running faster,while some simply blasted off the ground with pure speed causing shockwaves to emerge from the surroundings.

Vather looked at the students immediately dashing off as he wondered why the hurry but Liam could see his lost expression as he told him.

"The blue domes of energy you can see in the distance are actually another world or should I say reality.It's not just as easy as passing through the domes to the other side as you'll immediately get transported away from the place.There's a type of trial in that world.Failure to complete that will means being sent back to the starting point,while passing will mean being able to advance.But the real problem is the gravity.The gravity increases every twenty minutes or so.So the more you fail,the harder it is for you to pass.Imagine climbing that mountain upahead with gravity increased by three fold,how hard will it be.And it seems the gravity doesn't have a limit,It will only keep increasing with time and never reducing.

"Woah, that's some really cool ability."Vather said to himself as he looked at the faraway blue domes of energy.

"Not only that,the trials are also a little different for everyone,but it's still the same concept though only they are more suited to each person and the stronger you are,the stronger the trial is also.See you out of the dome Vather."he said as he immediately kicked off the ground and disappeared into the distance,a trial of fire appearing behind him.

Vather looked at the rapidly fading silhouette as he used his bloodline scan on Liam.

"He's also gotten a little stronger than before."Vather said as he also kicked off the ground towards the blue dome of energy but he refrained from using his elements in this drill but even then he was still horrifyingly faster than all the students.

"Let's see what's so amazing about the drills" Vather said as he immediately enter into the first blue screen light before him.
