Chapter 37: Three Plans (1)

Dean held up the document Count Rubel had handed him this afternoon. He read some of the location suggestions for the future guild office. He sighed as he remembered Count Rubel's words earlier. It didn't hurt him, but he didn't know how his clients would feel.

"Did Kalypt already know about it and that's why it prevented me from handing over the data about the birth mother and step mother to Arthur?" Dean muttered to himself.

He stared out the window where there was a lake. Every day, he always traveled to check on some branches in other places. However, this time he wanted to rest, for whatever reason.

Dean didn't open the knocked door, allowing the person outside to casually walk in. It was a person with a friendly face. Dean did immediately put him into the executive and allowed that person to go in and out of his office without permission. After all, there wasn't anything that person didn't know.

Kalypt smiled as he saw Dean looking out the window. They were in a hotel near the guild's branch office in Senova Empire. Dean always looked at the window and that information was known to Kalypt.

"You must not want to help Arthur anymore because it would disappoint him, right?" Kalypt took a step toward his new leader.

Dean didn't answer him, he still had a cold expression. Of course Kalypt understood that, he entered the guild with nepotism, not that he would get good treatment from the leader.

"Then, I'll give you a prediction. This time, Arthur won't ask you to help with the internal matters of the Marithus Kingdom anymore. So you can rest easy if your purpose there is a little off." Kalypt provoked the topic.

Dean was astonished by the man. "How exactly do you know everything beyond my guild?"

Then, he shook his head. "Never mind. If you've said that, then it's true that it would be like that. There's no point in asking you about it."

Kalypt just smiled at Dean's response. He then sat on the chair near the nightstand. It was still facing Dean but the distance was not close either. Kalypt sat there with his arms crossed.

"Don't worry, although Arthur won't become the prince, someone who can overthrow Xavier Gladias has already been prepared by the other factions in there. That means we can defeat that bastard who wants to become a necromancer. First of all, you have to convince the person Xavier Gladias is looking for first."

Kalypt seemed to really enjoy some of the expressions Dean showed even at a glance. The man was quite stiff in front of his subordinates, but Kalypt could provoke some topics that made that man's face change.

Dean was angry. "Shut your mouth. Just get to the point?"

"Invite that woman named Adhitte to join. I mean, join his party. You'll experience some amazing things with him if you join his party." Kalypt immediately stood up from his seat.

"Hey, you want me to bring an obscure human—"

"Ninth grade is the maximum of the heart of mana or in the Marithus Kingdom it's called circle 9. For aura-using knights the maximum is to become a Sword Master. Do you know where the maximum level that Adhitte can reach is?" Kalypt deliberately interrupted Dean's words.

He said with confidence. "It's at the Dragon King level where all the legendary mages or the 8 Sword Masters of this Gigana Continent united still can't defeat her."

Kalypt left without looking at Dean again. He closed the door of the room without turning around.

The temperature in the middle of the forest is quite low, but it can still be warded off with several layers of clothing. But that didn't apply to Adhitte who was wearing a crop top that revealed her muscular stomach. Although a woman, she has the body of an athlete.

Currently, the two were in the inland forest. It was the final limit of where humans could go. The deepest part of the forest was filled with monsters that had lived there for hundreds of years.

"I will teach you to hunt according to their respective weaknesses. I'm honored to have a transcendent become my student, hehehe." Helena spoke in her usual sensual tone.

Adhitte watched that woman carefully. He found it strange that Helena was wearing a dress that was very uncomfortable for hunting. Although the material of the dress was satin, it was still uncomfortable.

Helena took Adhitte into a much darker forest. They walked while following some signs that Helena had made using colorful ropes on the trees.

"This time, we're going to try hunting land monsters. Try following that red rope." Helena pointed to the rope that led to their right.

She then walked in front of Adhitte, fully serving as a guide. Adhitte just silently walked while reading the information window that appeared before him.

Helena continued to head into the forest, but she whispered. "I actually saw an information window this morning to take you hunting, is that believable?"

'It seems that this system is very helpful to me and my party members.'

"Yes, just follow the missions given and you can definitely become stronger."

Hearing Adhitte answer like that, Helena ignored her. She simply whispered, "That's not what I want."

When they reached the top of a hill, Helena looked around. This time she was wearing a very striking gold-colored dress. Since there were no trees on the hill, the moonlight reflected off her dress.

Helena pointed at something at the bottom of the hill. "Over there are land monsters with seal-like characteristics. They only have two front legs with a dragged body. Their weakness is in their teeth that stick out. Don't break them because the body will die instantly. If they stab each other with those poisonous teeth, we can use them as experimental material."

Adhitte noticed something Helena pointed out. There really was a dark blue monster that looked like a seal.

"In that case, I'll go first. Look, my beautiful dress will make me shine even if I'm surrounded by a pool of blood." Helena excused herself.

Before leaving, Helena kissed the back of Adhitte's hand, taking that woman by surprise. Helena seemed to continue showing her ever-so-seductive moves.

From the top of the hill, she leaped casually. Then easily landed smoothly in the center of the monster. She immediately opened her hand fan and covered her mouth area. "You're all so stinky. Come on my babies, gather around!"

At that moment, Helena seemed to be dancing in the air. When a monster wants to attack her, she simply jumps and the monster will bite another monster on the opposite side. All Helena had to do was jump while banging the monster's head against the other monster's body.

Adhitte's eyes wided by the notification. Even though only Helena was hunting, but she could also level up? This was a jackpot because it hadn't come to this before.

Of course she immediately jumped from the top of the hill and landed at the bottom as well. That made Helena surprised and tried to ask in the middle of her jump. "Why did you come straight down here?"

Adhitte took a sword from her inventory window. Her appearance angered some of the monsters there and attacked her suddenly.

With one slash, several monsters were cut down. Adhitte looked at the sword she was using.

'Demon King of Death's Swords, it's only fitting that they were killed so easily.'

She then put the sword back and picked up the dagger. Adhitte took a good look at the dagger.

"Hey, I told you not to kill them!"

Helena seemed surprised by Adhitte who went down and attacked the monsters until they split. Adhitte ignored her and tried to look at the monsters.

Adhitte's eyes showed something strange. There were glasses made with holograms appearing. That woman instantly looked at the bodies of the monsters.

'Found it. That vital point.'

Then, Adhitte stabbed several parts of the monsters. The back, legs, lower body, even the tail. He did not aim for the head at all.

"The weakness is not in the teeth, you're wrong." Adhitte tried to communicate in the midst of taking care of all the monsters.

'Since the teeth only have paralyzing venom, they obviously don't die. Helena is very smart to take advantage of it.'
