"Material Annihilation"

"Drag you down?" Jonathan had no time to ponder the meaning as Ogs abruptly turned and fled. The swirling gray matter rushed beneath his feet, forming stairs that lifted him skyward. 

Standing atop the tramway, Ogs looked down at Jonathan with distorted arrogance. "Aren't you going to pursue me, Dispossessor 331? Or do you lack the courage?"

From that height, pedestrians seemed like ants underfoot. Ogs' stance was haughty, eyes taunting. 

The blaring sirens of hovering police cars grew louder, their lights illuminating the ground and moving toward Ogs. Yet, he remained unfazed, apparently disregarding the investigative department's presence.

He intended to run amok in Lost City, heedless of consequences!
