First day of school

The most exclusive and prestigious school in the world, Guardian nurturing Academy. The school opened 5 years ago, it was apparently a big controversy, on basically having a military school, training children with superpowers. It was first suppose to be a elementary or middle school, but because of the push back; it was opened as a high school for the ages 16-18. They still had a legal obligation to teach basic education for high school, but it wasn't the top priority. The school's number 1 priority was to nurture great superheroes or as people called them Guardians. 

A boy and a girl stood outside the open academy gates as droves of people in the school uniform passed by them. They were talking on the phone with their parents.

"Did you make sure you packed everything? Did you forget sunscreen? Or maybe your at home clothes?"

"No Mom we didn't forget anything I double checked for the both of us."

The girl reassured her mom worried through the phone. 

"Alright Aliyah you look after your brother okay?"

"Yeah I got it mom. Ima hang up, we gotta go now."

"Alright love you two bye."

"Love you too mom, I'll pass the phone to Arthur. Hey say bye to mom."

She called him and he quickly snapped out of his daydreaming and took the phone.

"Bye mom, love you."

"Love you too dear bye."

The phone call hung up.

"Phew that took forever, let's go, we're gonna be late."

She said as she dragged her brother along, to the auditorium. 

He went along with her. They were both curious as to what this school life would bring.
