~Sunny's POV~
The whole class looked at me in shock, before Xavier nudged me, "I thought you said that you're parents are from California?" I nodded, "Born and raised, have been for generations" The teacher shook her head at us. "Sunny, these results would mean that one of your parents is from Russia, and the other is close enough to being 100% Italian. Sunny, you're not from the US at all." My face must have said it all. Shock. Confusion. Betrayal. And last of all, anger.
"Please could I stand outside for a moment" The teacher could obviously see the look on my face and let me go. I sat outside in the corridor, alone, in silence. The way I wanted it. I could hear my class continuing to go through their results, Cameron got sixty percent from the British Isles, twenty percent Scandinavian and twenty percent Iberian. He cheered at his results while the class laughed. Xavier got what he expected to get, seventy percent French, and thirty percent North West Europe.
The class continued but somebody came out of the classroom and sat next to me. It was Xavier. I gave him a small smile, trying to make the situation less awkward than it already was. "Are you ok?" He asked, his voice a lot softer than I've ever heard it. I shook my head. "I..I think I know. What happened. Why..." He nodded, knowing I would struggle to say the rest. "At least being Italian has it perks right?" I gave out a small laugh, "Yeah, maybe I have a special superpower in the speciality of making pizza" He smiled and the moment wasn't so awkward anymore.
"You're result was what you already knew?" He nodded,
"And yours was.....unexpected, to say the least" I gave him a brief smile. Xavier scooted closer to me and put his arm around my shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. "I know things must be tough on you right now, but I know you Sunny, I know that you can pull through without a scratch on you. Cameron, Zander, Giovanni, Jack and I will follow you everywhere. You always look after us and make sure we don't so anything stupid, and now's the time that we will repay the favor"
I smiled and hugged him, "Thank You" I whispered.

My walk home was definitely needed, I know I could have taken a ride from one of the guys but I needed to clear my head. I now knew that I must have been adopted, which meant that my real parents were still out there, and you never know, maybe they remember me, somehow....
I took a deep breath in as I opened the front door, my keys with my favourite keychain attached were jingling in the air. I stepped inside and dropped my bag in the hallway and hung up by coat. Kicking off my shoes, I continued to the kitchen diner, where Mom and Dad were talking to my sister Kelsie, sat at the table, touching up her makeup. Her perfectly curled blonde hair bounced around her head as she did so. "Can I, talk to you?" I had always been terrible at speaking to my parents, always trying to avoid direct conversation with them.
"Am I....by any chance, adopted?"
