Lenora made it back to her room without any issues. Drifus was already in there.

He gave her a look and then lowered his head. "I apologize for my misconduct. I'm truly sorry."

A mild sigh escaped her lips. She did expect an apology but not one so soon. And even if she expected one, she knew she didn't deserve it. After all, it was she who messed up. "It's fine. I just… don't like that elf," she said, locking the door and taking a seat beside Drifus.

"Why?" he paused. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. But… it's safe here. I- I won't betray you-"

"I know Drifus. But… I'm not sure how to tell you when you trust her so much."

"She's my-"

"She's your sister. I know," Lenora said. "It's just, we met her the last time we were here."
