A Hot & Sexy Man

"Madam, we have arrived," Secretary Tang announced as he pulled the car in front of the foyer of the Grand Shen Residence.

Lu Feng Xi gazed outside the window and was mesmerized to see the grand infrastructure in front of her. Secretary Tang exited the car followed by Madam (Grandma) Shen. He opened the door for Lu Feng Xi, who stepped her foot out and came out of the car.

"Dear, this is your new house from today onward," Grandma Shen told her. The servants who were present in a line greeted Feng Xi, but she found it a bit awkward. Even though she belonged to a well-to-do family, this extravagance was new to her.

Madam Shen took Feng Xi inside the mansion and shortly reached the magnificent living room.

"Show the bedroom to Feng Xi," Madam Shen instructed the housemaid, Lady Yao, who had been working for them for more than thirty years.

Madam Shen wanted to spend some more time with Lu Feng Xi, but she had to talk with Shen Yu Han first, who left the Civil Affairs Bureau in annoyance.

Feng Xi left with Lady Yao to her bedroom while Madam Shen handed the butler her luxurious handbag. She then asked, "Is Yu Han also in the bedroom?"

"No, Madam Shen," the butler replied humbly, to which she did not say anything and directly went to the study because she knew that for Shen Yu Han, his work came first.

Upon reaching outside the study of her grandson, Madam Shen directly walked in and asked, "Can I come in?"

Shen Yu Han lifted his head to gaze at his grandmother and said, "Grandma is already inside." He noticed the red books in her hands and watched her settling on the chair.

"What have you done, Yu Han? You ran away from the Civil Affairs Bureau! Who does that? How could you be so inhuman?" Madam Shen complained.

Shen Yu Han sharply glanced at his grandmother. "Grandma's well-cultured Yun Xi ran away from the marriage. Does Grandma know how much humiliation it could've brought to us?" He asked with an infuriated glance.

"Then who asked you to sit in the wheelchair and pretend to be disabled?" Madam Shen glared at him while Shen Yu Han sat beside her on the other chair, "If you had not acted to be a disabled person, you would have been married to Yun Xi by now."

"I'm glad that Yun Xi ran away. My act of disability was to check if Yun Xi would marry me or not. The last one ran away because of this reason too when I actually turned disabled," Shen Yu Han said in a hushed yet cold tone.

"That means Feng Xi is better than them. Now that you are married, you have to be a great husband," Madam Shen advised him.

"I married because grandma wanted me to. Do not think that I will coax her with love." Shen Yu Han clarified; he stood up from his seat, and stood close to his grandmother's chair, "She is a substitute bride anyway. Who knows she will also run away someday," he remarked.

"It was Yun Xi who ran away, not her younger sister, Feng Xi. You should have been there for her," She reprimanded him.

Madam Shen knew what he was referring to but she changed the subject, "Either way, Feng Xi is a nice woman, and you must not treat her badly." She warned Yu Han and showed him the red books of their marriage registration and waved in front of him, "And do not even think of parting ways with her. I want an heir soon."

"What? An heir?" Shen Yu Han was stunned as he chuckled. Grandma Shen's words left him speechless.

Madam Shen again repeated the same about having an heir soon from them and rose to her feet. "Go and see your wife. I'll ask about the report from Yao Min later," she affirmed and turned to leave the study room.

Shen Yu Han could still hear his grandmother murmuring, "I wonder what my Feng Xi is doing?"

"I'll drop Grandma at the Old Residence," Yu Han offered and walked along with her. He took his grandmother to his car and drove her to the old residence, which was at least five kilometers away from his mansion in the same estate.

Lu Feng Xi was in a terrible mood; her eyes were red, and her heart was shaking in fear thinking of the new life she would begin in this new household.

Feng Xi thought she had a lavish life with the Lu family, but entering the Shen house, she found it was too extravagant. All the maids and servants received her with a great enthusiasm that made her feel overwhelmed as if she were a princess from ancient times.

"I don't wish to go to the bedroom yet," Feng Xi suddenly told Lady Yao and they both stopped in the corridor. "Instead, I would like to explore this place," she expressed her desire.

Lady Yao couldn't deny her request and asked Feng Xi if she would like to have lunch first.

"I don't have an appetite at the moment," Lu Feng Xi replied. She was hungry, but her sudden marriage with Shen Yu Han changed her entire mood.

"Mrs. Shen should head to the bedroom. Young Master Yu Han can come anytime to see you," Lady Yao opined, causing Lu Feng Xi to shiver and gulp in fear.

"Lady Yao, I would like to tour this mansion first," she pressed with a mild smile on her face.

"Sure, do you need me to guide you?" Lady Yao asked to which Lu Feng Xi politely refused her help. Feng Xi told Lady Yao she could leave her alone as she would explore the mansion.

Lady Yao nodded at her request and left her sight.

Feng Xi had witnessed how beautifully the mansion is cascaded in the modern architectural style while at certain places old Chinese influence was kept intact.

Lu Feng Xi thought that her family house was already big enough, but this place was ten times bigger than her house. The entrance of the mansion was a grand affair, attracting guests inside, which she already noticed before entering the house. The cascading waterfall was flanked by a meticulously landscaped garden. The marble floor was a great work of art for the entire residence.

When she returned again to the living room, she took in all the beauty of the interior architecture, which unfolded into an open-concept living area characterized by its expansion of glass walls that blurred the line between indoors and outdoors. The walls of the interior living room were full of ancient Chinese artifacts.

After a while, she walked into the kitchen. At that moment, Yu Han headed out with his grandmother to the foyer, but they didn't see each other.

"Woah! It's like a chef's kitchen," Feng Xi said with a mesmerizing gaze. The chefs present in the kitchen greeted her, along with the few maids to whom she passed a smile.

Feng Xi walked out of the grand kitchen area since she felt a bit awkward to see the chefs and maids there. Her curiosity brought her to the northern side of the mansion, which looked like the ancient Chinese structures.

One among them was Yu Han's study room, whose door was open, and she ended up taking a peek inside. However, she didn't step in thinking Yu Han might get angry at her.

Next to the study room was a giant library, where thousands of books were stacked on the shelves. Feng Xi was never a fan of studies, so she didn't go in. However, her eyes did land on one of the shelves, where scrolls were embedded to the top.

Soon, she was out of the northern area. Feng Xi found the personal gym room, which had all sorts of exercise equipment.

"Wait! Isn't he in a wheelchair? Then, why all this equipment here? Perhaps he likes them, as I've heard men have a desire to have their own gym," Feng Xi muttered and moved ahead to the shooting gallery.

"Wow! Is this a toy gun? Does he play with a toy at this age?" Feng Xi picked up the gun while smiling, but found its weight was heavy. She remembered how in the movies the hero would point the gun, so she did the same. As Feng Xi pulled the trigger, a bullet was fired and hit the wall.

The sound emitted scared the hell out of Feng Xi and she immediately put the gun in its place. "What's a real gun doing here?" She murmured, her heartbeats shot instantly at that moment.

Running out from there, her feet stopped by the giant swimming pool area. The blue water had a soothing effect on her eyes and composed her. She took a lap around the swimming pool and sat on the poolside bench.

Feng Xi's feet had started to hurt after being in those high heels since the morning. She pressed her feet after removing her heels and then brought them up on the bench. She laid back and didn't realize when she drifted off to sleep.

Suddenly a voice jolted Feng Xi awake, "Mrs. Shen, why are you here?"

Feng Xi rubbed her eyes and found it was already night. Gosh! How much did she sleep?

"Everyone was looking for you. Young Master Shen just had his dinner without you," the maid informed her.

"I am famished too," Feng Xi stated and began walking while holding the heels in her hands. The maid took the heels from her and asked her why she didn't wear them.

"They hurt," Feng Xi responded and soon reached the dining hall of the mansion. Her mouth turned watery to see the dishes settled on the table and the aroma of the food entered her nostrils, causing her to promptly take the seat.

"Young Mistress refused to eat during the day," Lady Yao said as she saw how enthusiastically Feng Xi was eating.

"Yes. I was fo-foolish to take my anger on food," Feng Xi mumbled as the food was stuffed into her mouth.

"Please eat slowly. There's no need to rush," Lady Yao said while trying not to laugh.

Finally, Feng Xi had a glass full of water and she laid back on the chair. "It was delicious. Thank you, everyone, who put effort into making such a pleasant dinner," she expressed her gratitude and rose to her feet.

"I'm exhausted and want to sleep," Feng Xi told them.

Lady Yao led her way to the bedroom. Upon reaching the outside of the bedroom, Lady Yao said, "Young Master Shen is—"

Feng Xi didn't let her finish those words. "I don't wish to hear about him. I will go inside and sleep," she stated. After she stepped inside and closed the door behind her.

As Feng Xi turned, she was terrified to see the bedroom. Everything from curtains to bedsheets, to sitting chaise, to the walls, was in black shades.

"Who the hell designed this room? Is this a devil's den?" Feng Xi remarked and headed to the bed first. She had no strength left to think about the room's interior. All she wanted was a rest, and she landed on the soft mattress.

As Feng Xi turned her head after sitting on the mattress a hot and sexy man greeted her innocent sight, who had just emerged from the washroom, making her jaw dropped down.
