Chapter 24. Jealous

Laura woke up late the next day. She quickly got ready and went outside without eating breakfast. She rushed inside the car and took a sigh of relief when she realized that she still have a little time.

"Don't worry, no one would dare say anything even if you're late" Jason Said, scaring the shit out of Laura.

"Geez... I... I thought you already left" Laura stuttered.

"I was waiting for you," he said to her and then turned to the driver. " You can start the car now".

"Okay sir" the driver replied before starting the engine.

It was awfully quiet in the car with Laura feeling uncomfortable around him. It brings back memories making her blush. Unlike her, Jason was having a good time looking at her. Knowing the effects he had on her. He moved closer to her. He leaned closer to her and whisper into her ear.

"You look beautiful today," he said with a gorgeous smile. Laura held her breath looking at him this up close.

"My God... How come he looks more handsome every day" Laura swallowed deliciously. Before she could even have the time to react, Jason pulled away making her stare at him in awkwardness.

"Hmm, hmm " Laura cleared her throat looking outside the window.

The moment the driver announced their arrival Laura quickly ran out leaving Jason alone.

"Good morning Laura" Kate hugged her the moment she saw her.

"Morning" Laura replied.

"Why are you late, what happened"

"Sorry I woke up late" Laura replied before sitting down.

"That happens sometimes. It's as if you were drugged and you just want to rap yourself under the sheets". Kate said with a dreamy tone making both of them burst into laughter.

"Laura, Jane follow me," Sarah said walking past them.

"Okay," they both replied before going after her.

The three of them entered Jason's office. And saw Jason talking to a man.

They all greeted them when they got inside.

"Morning". The two men replied. Laura wondered the reason behind this sudden summoned.

"This is Mr. Anderson from the airwave industry in the UK. They just opened a new branch here and he's here to invite us to their opening which is taking place in a few hours" Jason elaborated.

"Yes, and we will also like to work with the Hughes cooperation in the future. This invitation is to show our intentions and we apologized for the late invite" Mr Anderson added.

All the while speaking, Jason has been trying to make eye contact with Laura but, she always avoids him by looking at the ground or at somewhere else. And it makes Jason angry at how she thinks she can easily avoid him after what happened. " Never, I'm not letting her off," Jason said with conviction to himself.

"Okay, if there's nothing else I would like to take my leave now. We have a lot of arrangements to make before the event " Mr Anderson said politely.

"Okay, nice meeting you " Jason shook hands with him

"My staff we see you out," Jason said indicating to the trios standing by the side.

They all started leaving but the moment they got to the door they heard Jason's voice.

"Not you Laura, stay". Laura felt like pretending as though she didn't hear him, so she can get away from him as far as possible. But she knew she can't do that.

"Okay sir" she replied with a grumpy voice before turning around still looking at the ground. When the others left, Jason stood up from his chair and walked to where she was standing. But Laura stepped back. Jason was relentless and kept moving forward until she was trapped between him and the wall.

"What! Hmmm? Why are you trying to avoid me" Jason whispered into her ear as he takes in her beautiful scent.

"I... Am not" Laura stutters as her heart beats loudly in her chest.

"That's not what I perceived" he replied while caressing her arms sending shavers all over her. He likes the way her body responds to his touch but wondered why she's so persistent in avoiding him and it drives him insane.

"I... I think I should go" Laura managed to say still trying to fight him off.

Jason kissed her hungrily on the lips. Not ready to hear her petty talks. Laura was shocked at first but, she can't back out. Not now that she was testing his delicious lips. Laura pulled him closer, grinding herself against him. Jason was immediately turned on. He unbuttoned her dress and held one of her boobs in his hands, while he sucks on the other one. Laura released a soft moan feeling dizzy from his assault.

Jason immediately pulled her skirt up, revealing her panties. He went for his trousers and tried to unbuckle his belt. That was when Laura cat back to her senses.

"No, this can't be happening" she managed to put her thought together.

"Jason, st... stop. I can't" Laura said with a heavy breath.

"What? " Jason was confused. "How can she expects me to stop now, when I'm as hard as a rock?" He managed to pull away from her with dissatisfaction. He did not want to force her into anything.

"I... I think I should go" Laura said before walking out of his office.

Jason was left with no choice but to jerk himself off in his restroom inside his office. He wondered how things got to this point. Why he can't stop thinking about her?

Laura tried to look as presentable as she can to stop people from suspecting anything.

"Hey Laura, what happened why were you guys summoned?" Kate asked her.

"Nothing much, just some new company inviting us for their opening " Laura tried to act normal. But Kate had a feeling that she was hiding something, especially with those swollen lips.

She pulled Laura away with her to the restroom. After taking sure no one else was around, she starts her interrogations.

"Don't tell me you kissed him again. I know he's hot and I'm not against you two being together but, what if he thinks you're...." Kate felt like explaining things to her friend even though his mother wants them to be together that doesn't mean he would take things laying down.

"I...I didn't, he kissed me" Laura interrupted her.

"What?" Kate was surprised. "Wait! How come?" She said looking at Laura.

"You see... Ehhmm... I think we should talk about it another time "

But Kate didn't buy her excuse.

"Lau...ra.." Kate stressed her name. What are you hiding from me?"

"Nothing "

"Don't you dare lie to me. I've known you all my life. And I know that you're hiding something. Something from me "

" Okey, maybe I might have been stupid enough to have sex with him "

"What!" Kate couldn't hold back her shock. "Yo... you mean, you two have.." Kate felt dizzy.

"Yes, and it's kind of felt weird afterward that's why I tried to avoid him. But, he didn't like it " Laura said with a grumpy face.

"OMG, my friend is no longer a virgin. Good for you girl " Kate was excited. But then Laura's phone rang interrupting their conversation.

"Hello Noel, why have you not been picking up my calls? Is everything okay?". Laura asked feeling worried.

"I'm okay. Sorry for making you worried. It's just that I've been busy with work. So how are you? Is everything good on your side?"

"Your sister is no longer a virgin " Kate prompts in, making Laura immediately cover her mouth with her hand.

"Is that Kate?" Noel's voice sounded from the phone. And what is she talking about?" Noel was confused.

"Nothing. You know Kate with her pranks". Laura lied.

"Hi Noel, so good to know that you still remember your sister," Kate said from the side.

"I know. And I'm sorry ".

A few hours later Jason, Jane, and Laura head to the parking lot. Going to the event Mr. Anderson invited them to. Jason was the first to get into the car. Laura was about to follow when Jane immediately jumped in taking Laura by surprise.

Jason's face turned dark upon seeing Jane's actions. But his face immediately brighten up when he saw the jealous look on Laura's face.

This is going to be interesting " Jason smiled to himself.

"You can sit at the front ". Jane said to Laura with her fake pretending voice.

Left with no choice, Laura hesitantly sat at the front throwing Jane a deadly look when she tried to move closer to Jason.

Jason felt repulsion toward Jane. But, he has to deal with it if, he plans on making Laura bagged for him.

"Gosh... I'm gonna kill this slut" Laura crunched her fist in anger.
