Stuck in a dungeon for 5000 years and acquiring unimaginable power

Yoo Sung-ho was an outcast. Not because of him being smaller or weaker than everyone else, but because he didn't put up with their shit. He hated lying! He was always very outspoken and honest about everything.  One day he made the wrong person mad... and that person chose to get rid of him. What happens when Sung-ho gets trapped in a dungeon for 5000 years? What happens when he leaves? What does life have in store for him? (I will also be posting on royalroad.com)

Conference (I)

(Sorry everyone, I was in the hospital with severe food poisoning.)

It was time for the Raider's Conference. A variety of SS rank raiders, all dressed in expensive tuxedos with shiny polished leather shoes, are heard walking through the hallways.

Only SS ranks were allowed inside. Sung-ho had to enter without Hye-eun or his family. His mother and Sister wanted to visit the United States, so they came along.

Sung-ho made his way to the lobby where he noticed a crowd of people gathering around a television screen, as they watch in complete unrelenting awe.

[Last night the Tae siblings cleared yet another orange gate! And in world record breaking time! With a time of just 42 seconds, the dynamic duo has broken the previous world record of 65 seconds! In a recent interview with the older sibling, Tae Min-seok, he stated that he is hoping to become an SSS rank within the next two years...]

'Tae Min-seok? Why does that name give me a sense of nostalgia?'

Sung-ho couldn't break the feeling that he knows him, but from where, and how? An annoying feeling crept up his spine, it bothered him not being able to remember.

'Why can't I remember!?'

*Wooo!*

*Clap* (x3)

His thoughts soon become obsolete to the sound of cheering and clapping that echoed throughout the room. The Tae siblings had entered the conference hall as the flashes from cameras seemed to overpower the overhead lights. Each and every flash was from a different raider's camera, they all admired the Tae siblings, the world record breaking legends.

'Wait a minute…! He's that jock!'

Tae Min-seok notices Sung-ho, who is now standing, Min-seok recognizes him.

'Wait a minute~~~~~~~~~~~!... Shit! I need to apologize for that time, if he comes out with what happened then I could lose everything!'

Min-seok walked through the shroud of people, pushing them aside one by one as he headed towards his goal. He needed to speak to Sung-ho, and he needed to do it now!

Sung-ho patiently waited for him, his foot stampered on the ground as if to match the beat of the song playing from the venue speakers. He watched as the heads of raiders spread from each other, forming a perfect path to Sung-ho.

Min-seok wasn't sure how to start the conversation. Should he be straight forward or should he take a more delicate approach?

"Hey… so… I want to apologize for what I did to you. I uh… I was in a different place back then and would like to apologize."

"It's fine."

Sung-ho wasn't sure if he should be angry or thankful. He was thankful for the strength he received but he was angry for the fame the jock was getting, he did try to kill him.

Min-seok sighs out of relief. He was happy to resolve the situation peacefully. Tae Woo-bin walks over two of them talking.

Sung-ho was astounded at the beauty standing before him. From her sharp cheekbones to her red lips, from her long legs to small shoulders, she was the perfect girl in his image.

"All raiders, please report to conference room one, to receive your briefing!"

The intercom sounded out, every language was playing in alphabetical order.

"Guess it's time to go." (Min-seok)

"Yep!" (Woo-bin)

The Tae siblings walk past Sung-ho, towards conference room one.

Raiders were flooding into the room, by the hundreds. A webbing of chairs spread throughout the room. Sung-ho sat in the very back of the cluster of seats, with the rest of the Koreans.

Each country supplied their raiders translators. Using earbuds, the translator would input their voices over the main conference speaker.

Sung-ho was seated next to Tae Woo-bin.

"The reason we called for this conference is a recent development happening in low ranked gates. It seems that time has stopped dilating in Blue ranked dungeons and below. We fear this may continue for all ranking dungeons."

"That could be a problem. It could really affect our world record run times." (Min-seok)

Sung-ho listened as several raiders scoffed at Min-seok's statement.

"The next topic I would like to discuss is…" (Speaker)

****

 "That took forever!"

Sung-ho stretched the muscles in his neck as he walked outside. His family and Hye-eun were waiting outside the conference hall. A translator was with them.

"How did it go oppa?"

Ha-yeon was giddy as she watched the horde of raiders leave the building.

"It was tedious, after the first four topics I fell asleep."

"That's why he normally has me!"

Hye-eun puffs her chest out as she speaks proudly.

"Now! Time for our vacation!" (Ha-yeon)

*

The six people began to travel around the city. New York was the biggest tourist attraction in the United States. Every raider that ever visited the U.S. would always visit New York, at least once.

They began to roam the city as the sky started getting darker and darker. There were no stars to be seen. The skyscrapers lined the sky as the seemingly 'nightless city' lived up to its name. Lights from the city below overtook the night sky.

"It's so beautiful!"

Ha-yeon had only seen pictures of the city. She whipped her phone out and began to take snapshots and video of cars passing by. She watched lights flicker off in office buildings and hordes of people travel towards the subway station.

"I could live here!"

Sung-ho wasn't as impressed. He wasn't a fan of all the people constantly bumping into him and each other. He saw protesters holding anti-raider signs.

"What does that sign say?"

"It says, 'Stop killing the dungeon animals! They are animals too, you should give them right!'."

Sung-ho looked away in disgust.

"This place is just asking for a dungeon break, I say let it happen. These idiots deserve it."

Hye-eun looked at Sung-ho and laughed with him. They laughed at the stupidity of others together, often.

"Let's go to a hotel. I'm tired." (Hye-eun)

Sung-ho nodded and walked off with his family.
