Test (Part-2)

Before he could understand, a hand emerged from the shadow holding his legs, causing him to lose his balance. But he did not lose focus, and suddenly intense lightning burst from his body and covered him like armour. The shadow hand that was holding his legs were destroyed completely.

"Ohh! Michael also noticed how easily the lightning of Aeon destroyed the shadow."

On the other hand, everyone watching was also surprised, as usually, it is difficult to destroy the shadow created by Michael. Although its weakness is elemental attack, and lightning also has a restrictive influence on the shadow.

Michael smiled, looking at Aeon, and then, from his shadow, many figures started to appear, and slowly, seven humanoid dark shadow figures appeared in front of him.

Seeing this, he was shocked, as the pressure he felt from each of them was almost equal to that of the mercenary guy who ambushed him before. But now he has to face seven of them.

"You, kid, your lightning seems to have quite a destructive property, but that's not enough", and with that, all seven shadows started to move and attack Aeon.

All of them were very quick on their feet, and in a second, they came close to him. Aeon also did not hold back and punched with a lightning-clad fist and hit one of the shadows closest to him.

The moment he made contact with the shadow, lightning energy exploded, and a portion of the shadow disintegrated, but he did not get the chance to feel happy as from both left and right sides, two shadows punched him. He used his quick reflexes to dodge the attack from the left side and used his hands to block the fist from the other side, but he was not just facing these three as from behind, another shadow attacked.

Aeon quickly tried to use lightning to cover his back, but he was still a fraction of a second late and the kick from the shadow landed on him with a strong force, sending him flying a few metres. He quickly controlled his balance and barely landed on his feet.

All the remaining shadows did not continue to attack, as Michael seemed to be giving him time. But when he noticed the half-destroyed shadow, he was shocked: "His lightning is even hindering shadow regeneration."

Slowly, the shadow, which was half destroyed, seemed to disappear from heaven and earth, and Michael's expression changed as disbelief was written on his face. "How is this possible? How can it die?"

All the transcendents who were watching were also surprised. They had already seen that Aeon lightning has more destructive energy than ordinary lightning, but stopping Michael Shadow from regenerating shows how good his lightning is.

But when they heard Michael's words, their expression changed, from thinking Aeon's talent was interesting to utter horror.

The shadow soldiers that Michael controls are from the shadow realm. As beings from different dimensions, they are bound to the shadow realm, making them immortal. Only some special weapons made from material from the shadow realm can harm these immortal shadows, but right now, in front of them, Aeon killed a shadow soldier.

They all looked at Aeon with horror, as his lightning could even sever the connection between the different dimensions and kill immortal shadows.

"His lightning can even affect conceptual law, but how is this possible? Didn't he just awaken?" One of the captains could not help but ask as he glanced at Maeve and the old man, who was also surprised looking at this.

"Maybe because he had some bloodline or some contract with the god of the law, but whatever it is, our '18' sector finally got a talent," said the old man as he smiled and watched Aeon.

"Stop it; it is enough; we already saw the capability of our new member," Miss Maeve said to stop the battle. As just seeing his lightning can affect laws, she felt this was enough.

Hearing this, Michael felt relieved, although these are weak shadows and will not affect his strength. He really does not want to lose them.

"Ah, that's it." Aeon felt the fight was short, but since they wanted to stop, he stopped.

"So, which squad wants him?" Maeve asked all the captains and sub-captains who were present here.

Hearing this, all of their eyes started glowing. "This kid can join mine, as I think he will fit in it," a red-haired guy with sharp eyes filled with killing intent said.

"If you let him join you, he will just be a slaughter machine, so he should join my squad for improvement," a man with dark skin and a sturdy body releasing the aura of a giant beast said as he glanced at the red-haired guy.

Slowly, all the remaining captains and sub-captains also showed their interest in Aeon, wanting him to join their squad.

Seeing this finally, the old man said, "Stop it. Since all of you want him, then let the kid decide which squad he is going to join."

Then the old man glanced at Ian and said, "Go take this kid for a rest, and send him the rules and relevant information about different squads, so he can select which squad to join."

"And you all should not approach him in the following days until he decides which squad to join; otherwise, it would not end well for you." He warned, in particular, some captains and sub-captains not to try to break the rules.
