The Strongest Man Vs Jellal

The Fairy Tail team had arrived on a floating bubble. Richter instantly recognized the bubble and an idea came to him. He threw Wally and Milliana to Simon and told Erza, "Erza, look your team has arrived. Take our friends to them and tell the water girl who should be with Natsu and the team to take you guys far away from this Island."

As he said that he immediately covered himself with his vibration barrier because the next moment a water ball came flying right at his face. The water ball dispersed as it touched his vibration barrier. Then a ball of dark mass came flying at his face. The dark mass struck his face as it had entered his barrier successfully.

Blood flowed from his nose. He was surprised. More of those magical ball of dark mass came flying at him. He realised that his vibrations weren't working on those magical balls of dark mass since they could easily enter his vibration barrier. He dodged them this time, previously it was just because he had let his guard down.

Seeing them standing like a statue, he got a bit irritated and shouted,

"Now move all of you and don't come near me."

"What about you?" Erza asked.

He gave his wide smile and a thumbs up as he said, "Don't worry! I can swim. Trust me. Now go."

Erza smiled and nodded her head and ran off to the shore with her childhood friends.

"We will wait for you!!!"

"Take care of them." Jellal ordered Ultear.

"As you wish, Jellal-sama." Ultear chased after Erza and others.

"I already have found your weakness. Gravity! That's your weakness. You will not leave this place alive today."

"I just came here to ask the whereabouts of the Tartaros guild not to fight you or anything originally. But with you lots trying to kill me, this was already a death fight, our feelings are mutual. No matter what I will make sure you die here today."

"Darkness magic: Dark moment"

The light in the area disappeared leaving only darkness. The darkness robbed Richter's vision.

Nothing too troublesome, just a small hitch. Using seismic waves as echolocation, he pinpointed Jellal's location.

"Gravity Magic: Gravity Sphere"

Jellal fired those sphere of dark mass which was the physical form of gravity.

Despite those gravity spheres having the perfect cloak of darkness, they had a major issue. Their suction force even before they strike their target.

Richter had already caught this drawback of gravity spheres when he was struck in his face and when facing Altairis. Those suction force gave the gravity spheres their direction, so he easily dodged them with his great agility.

As he was dodging those sphere, he had a great idea. He could imitate these gravity spheres with his seismic bubble. All he needed to do was create a seismic bubble on his palm, unlike his usual around the fist, and throw it to his enemies. And he exactly did that.

Creating the seismic bubble of palm size, he threw it towards Jellal. The seismic bubble contained the energy of "Richter 6" scale. It was comparable to the Atom bomb. The bubble exploded generating a massive amount of shockwave.

"I Won't Let You!"

Jellal screamed as he coughed blood from the first wave of shockwave. He created a large magic circle and diverted the seismic bubble with his air magic to the sea before it could fully explode. And like a tailed beast bomb but white it exploded and created sea quakes. Unfortunately all the things occured in the sea. The damage to the island was miniscule. Though this caused the dark moment to be cancelled and the light returned to battlefield restoring Richter's vision.

Jellal sweated seeing that. He gritted his teeth. 8 years, It took him 8 years to build this tower. He won't let all his work be destroyed just when it's so near. Just where did this idiot come from suddenly?

"How about a deal? I will give you Tartaros guild location, bury all the feud I had with Erza and her friends and you leave this Island alone?"

"You should have thought of that earlier."

"I admit my mistake. And I apologise for that."

"You want forgiveness. Get religion."

"You can't do it like this. Everything I did was for the freedom. To create an utopia where everyone is free. So, Do You Know The Consequence Of Sinking An Island? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I HAVE SACRIFICED?"

"I missed the part where that's my problem."

Flying in the air he then unleased his combo of magic,

Gravity Magic: Gravity Mantle

Heavenly Body Magic: Grand Chariot

(A/N: Laser blast from the sky)"

The pressure heavily increased from gravity. The seals formed on the ground as the hole in the sky opened. This time the it wasn't light lasers that were falling, they were dark lasers. Those dark lasers, which were the combination of gravity and original Grand Chariot, rained heavily on Richter. The blast were more destructive than ever. The crater in the ground was enormous. Jellal himself was surprised from the destructive power of those combined magic.

"Hah... Hah... Hah... Is it over?"

Panting, he dropped to his knees. He was very tired. It took a toll in his magic reserve to cast those magic at once. To make matters worse, he wasn't very proficient with gravity magic.

"It should be. Although it was risky. They were effective. It passed through his barrier....."

His eyes were wide opened as the golden haired muscular man walked out from the crater and dust. His face bloodied as blood dripped from his head down to the face then to the ground. It made him look more menacing.

"Done?" He asked.

Jellal gritted his teeth flabbergasted on how this guy was still alive? Those laser beams were more powerful than a falling meteor.

Quickly jumping back, he shot multiple gravity spheres towards him. All of them hit him.

He wasn't bothering to dodge? Or is it that he can't dodge? But all for the better. He kept shooting gravity spheres then made a gravity lance and threw at him. The lance went straight. But this time, the gravity lanced stopped in mid air and so did all the spheres and dropped to the ground.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

A maniacal laugh came from The Strongest Man.

If someone were to see this scene from sideline, what would they have thought? Who was the villain, A bruised laughing maniac or a panicking, tired, scared but physically well person. To be fair, right now, there is no hero, there is no villain. Just two men duking it out. A death battle.

"I give my thanks to you Jellal. I will give you a painless death."

Panick kicked in. Jellal stepped back. Why was it not working? Shouldn't gravity be unaffected by shockwaves? Why do they not work anymore? What happened?

Richter clenched his fist to end this fight.

"It's a pity. I wished it would have ended differently.

Richter 8: Shockbomb"

His arms swelled, veins grew as he threw the Strongest Punch in the world.

The punch didn't form crack in the air like usual. It directly exploded boom with such energy that it couldn't be termed as just shockwave anymore. It was an explosion from the kinetic energy and heat energy. An explosive blast that contained energy from magnitude 8 scale earthquake. A 15 million TNT point blank explosion.

There remained no remains. Only scorched ground. There was no need to sink the island anymore. All that remained was for him to return back. Sadly, with his work still incomplete.
