"Okay! Use you Beast soul in quick succession."

A magic pattern appeared in Elfman's arm and changed it into arm of a bear.

"Stop! Not that. I am talking about full Take Over. It's about time you do it."

"I....I am still not confident..."

"Elfman the only way to win against your fear is by facing your fear. There's no other way."

"I know but what if I loose control again..."

"Then I will beat you back to control again...Either you do it through your will or I beat you and that beast to submission. Pick your choice."

Crackling his fist, Richter got ready to beat Elfman, "Under the count of 3, 2, 1."

"Wait! Wait! Let me prepare myself."

"ELFMAN!" Richter shouted. "A true Man doesn't need excuses."

Richter's sudden shout startled him but it also calmed his heart, "Yeah right. MAAAAAAN!!!!"

Elfman used his Full Take Over magic to change into the Beast Soul known as "The Beast" that had caused him and Mirajane PTSD before.

As expected, Elfman had lost control of The Beast. But Richter knew it was only a matter of time he regains the control back. Elfman is no longer a kid. He knows how to face himself and his past.

If he doesn't regain his control back, there's no choice but to beat that beast down like Thanos did to Hulk.

Till then..... Richter just needed to suppress the beast.

After 15 minutes,

"RAAAAAAAAAAWR!!!" The Beast roared as it was unwilling and fighting for the consciousness but the physically worn-out and exhausted beast lost the battle of mind.

It took longer than he expected but thankfully Elfman returned to himself.

"Ouch! My body hurts. What the hell did you do to me?"

"Nothing to worry about. Just gave you some manly punches. So how was the Take Over?"

"Not bad. I think I can do it."

"No. You will do it. I am going to train you until you are able to use 2 Take Over: monster forms at once." Pointing towards the huge bag of salvaged monster materials for their quest, he added, "You're going to carry that. Now let's return fast. We can't miss Harvest Festival. I CAN'T MISS THAT CONTEST!!!"

"Yosh! MAAAAN!!!"

Pumping their fist in the air, they returned to complete their quest.

Magnolia, Fairy Tail, Beauty Contest;

"Welcome all citizens of Magnolia and to our guests from nearby towns!!"

The crowd was bustling, buzzing and laughing. Why?

The whole crowd cheered loudly.

"MC-ing this event is yours truly, the Sand Wizard, Max!!!"

"And for entry no.1!!!An exotic beauty with a stomach that contains hole to another dimension. Cana Alberona!!!"

Cana appeared on the stage in her usual dress. The crowd was excited to see her.

She then used her flying cards to cover herself from surroundings and then bang! changed into her bikinis.

"I claim my five hundred thousand- I mean my cash for my liquor bill."

"WooooooAAAH!!!" Crowd cheered for her.

"For the contestant no.2, we present a new member but her abilities are S-class. A woman whose beauty brings the rain. Juvia Lockser!!!"

Juvia turned herself into water then turned back changing into her swim wear. She was visibly happy.

"With this Gray-sama will notice Juvia!!!"

"YAAAAY!!!"

"Entry no.3 the poster girl for the guild. The woman whose beauty makes the entire continent drunk with desire, Mirajane!!!"

The whole crowd cheered for her.

"The one we have been waiting for!"

"It's her in flesh!"

"She's cuter in real life than in pictures!"

"The frontrunner!!!"

Mirajane walked onto the stage in her normal dress.

"My magic is transformation so I would like to transform for you!"

The crowd was excitedly waiting for her Magic Appeal Time.

With a poof, her head turned to that of a blue cat.

"My head turns to that of a cat."

"EHHHHHH!!!!" The whole crowd was disappointed.

"Ah HA HA HA!"

"WOW! Mira-nya chan turned into neko."

Happy and Milliana very much loved Mirajane's transformation.

"Next my head changes to-"

She was about to change her head to Richter but it caused her to remember that night. Her face turned red from shyness and fled back to stage.

"Woah!"

"WOOOOOOAAAAAHHHH!!!"

"CUUUUUUUUUTE!!!!!"

"I can now die without regrets."

The whole crowd went bonkers.

Lucy who was gleeing while thinking the frontrunner had sabotaged herself, remained speechless on crowd's reaction.

"Now for entry no. 4, we present a mage with not only beauty and charm but also one of the greatest power in the guild. Titania, Erza Scarlet!!!"

The excitement remained high in the air. Erza came onto the stage with her armour on.

"There she is!!"

"ERZA!!!"

Erza remained confident as usual.

"I have prepared requip just for you!"

Saying that she changed into goth-loli outfit.

Milliana was happy while Simon jaw dropped.

Lucy steeled herself for her entry.

She rushed and closed Max mouth fearing that if the crowd hears she is from rich family, she will never get the money.

"Wait a minute! It's my magical time.", Lucy complained.

Before she could complete the sentence, Max shouted, "WAIIIT! There's still one contestant left!"

The contestant no. 8, Evergreen got angry when her grand entry was interrupted.

Max paid no heed to her and called out,

"Entry no. 9!"

BOOM!

Evergreen and Lucy backed as it created a hole on the stage and the smokescreen of dust.

"I have the biggest chest!"

"I have the biggest butts!"

"I have the slimmest waist."

"I am the destined one to win. Who am I?"

Max announced, "Entry no. 9! Richter Quake!"

"Bleeeergh!"

"Gaaaah! My eyes!"

The crowd threw tomato and apples on the stage but why should the Strongest Man care about opinion of peasants. Richter continued doing the 8 mandatory bodybuilding poses in his swimwear brief that he recently bought.

"MUSCLES ARE ALSO BEAUTS!"

At the side, dark aura manifested around Evergreen.

"How dare you interrupt MY moment!!!? I AM THE TRUE FAIRY!"

She removed her glasses and used her Eye magic: Stone eyes on Richter and Lucy. It was a sudden and quick cast of magic. Thus managed to petrify them.

Makarov shouted, "Evergreen! What are you doing!!?"

"Everybody please run away!!!" Max warned the crowd. The crowd hurriedly started leaving.

"You're ruining the festival!"

"Festival comes with entertainment, right?"

Saying that she burned the curtain covering the backstage. All the participants were turned into stone.

"My sister!" Elfman shouted.

"You fool! You turn them back right now." Makarov was furious.

"Tsk tsk tsk!"

A lightning dropped on the stage and Laxus along with the Riajin tribe stood on the stage with mocking tone.

"You fairy tail idiots! The festival starts now!"

BOOM

A loud boom resounded and the exact half of the stage was demolished.

"Laxus!" Fried cried out.

"Cough! Cough! What happened? I couldn't see."

The dust cleared and Laxus laid unconscious on the ground bleeding from his nose and head.

"That's one for sucker punching me before!"
