A Moment of Peace
After going through a hard day and a long battle, Noa and his friends returned to their apartment.
They decompressed their motorboards, then flew across the brushy desert toward the center of town.
The night sky was decorated with neon lights emanating from tall buildings, creating a spectacular sight.
A few minutes later, they arrived at their destination.
"Phew, today really drained my energy," Noa said as he stopped his flying motorboard in front of their apartment in downtown Ash Valley.
Adrihen, who was behind Noa, nodded in agreement, "It's true, that battle did require all of our abilities. But, what we have achieved today is great!"
Noa opened the door to their apartment, inviting Adrihen and So-Rin to enter first. They walked into the comfortable living room, with large glass windows that provided a beautiful view of the twinkling city.
