(I am not a native english speaker, so please forgive me for any spelling mistakes, this is also the first novel I am writing, so don't expect high quality stuff, this is just going to be some half-assed story, that I am writing because of quarantine, and I repeat DON'T EXPECT QUALITY! Btw obvious DISCLAIMIER, I don't own BNHA or Undertale and the cover art was made by Patzzi and reedited by Solunary.)

The Beauty of Music

"Well anyways, last week I won 3 tickets to a concert and I didn't know what to do with it, until now that is. Fumio I am inviting you and your daughter with me to the concert!"

The little girl stared to her best of her ability at the bunny hero, as good as it can go with closed eyes, trying to make her uncomfortable, which surprisingly worked.

"You won't answer my question?"

Rumi tried her best to avoid the gaze of the girl, but it was difficult.

"Fumio what is your answer?"

"What kind of concert?"

"I don't know, it looks like the concert of some youths that made it to this point, I give them 3 months until the disband again."

"That isn't nice to say and you know it, it might be not nice, but that might as well happen, you know?"

"Well, let's go how much time left?"

"23 minutes until it starts."

A tick mark appeared on Fumios' head.

"And where is it."

"Oh, at the west wing of the mall."

"Where are we currently at?"

Rumi started to sweat drop as she understood the situation she was is.

"The east wing."

"How do you think we are going to make it in time!?"

Rumi got fidgety under the scolding of Fumio.

"By running."

"And do you think we can keep pace with you?"

Suddenly the rabbit hero just lifted the woman and the child up.

"You know I am strong enough to carry both of you, right?"

Fumio started to blush.

"Let me down! I am a grown woman and this is embarrassing!"

"Nope, it's too late for that!"

Akane just placed herself on Rumi's' shoulders.

"Go aunty Rumi, we will make it to the concert thingy!"

"You heard her."

"Fine, but carry me in a decent position and not a sack of potatoes."

Rumi switched her position to a princess carry.

"Here you have it, let's go!"

And she started to sprint to the west wing, trying to avoid using her quirk in public.

------------------------------------------------------------------

The three arrived at the concert, gasping and huffing.

"Phew, we barely made it to the concert, a minute later and we would be late."

"Why the heck are you the ones gasping in exhaustion!? I was the one who carried you, you didn't do anything?"

"Let's just enter the hall, mommy!"

"Yeah, lets enter the hall, right Rumi?"

Rumi just chuckled at the devious words of the woman, she stood up straight again and used the tickets on the counter, finally entering the concert.

The hall was only scarcely filled, making it easy to find a place to stand. Rumi and Fumio prepared themselves for a round of disappointment. After a few minutes of waiting the band came, preparing to play. Saying it was bad would be an understatement.

The rhythm was off, the band didn't pace with each other, sometimes they hit the wrong note, the side singer was tone-deaf and the main singer had a boring voice, the guitar was too silent and the drums too loud, the only special thing about them were their music related quirks, but even that couldn't save the concert.

For Rumi it was the worst with her big rabbit ears, so she just went out after half an hour of listening to the catatonic sound of the band, she and Fumio seriously wondered how they made it to this point.

After an additional two hours of that torture, the three of them could finally leave that place.

Rumi had a headache, and Fumio wore a face that said "never again".

"Hey Fumio! How do you think they made it till that point? The only thing that wasn't a glaring mistake was the use of their quirks, but that couldn't possibly be their selling point."

"They honestly looked like the typical rich kids, I think that their parents pushed them up to this point, but after that it will be straight end of their carriers, to say the least, I don't think they are going to disband in three months, I think they will disband next week."

Rumi whistled at her statement.

"Bold of you to say that, but after that hell I think you aren't too far off."

Suddenly Akane stopped walking, her mother looked at her worriedly.

"Akane why did you suddenly stop?"

"Beautiful."

The two grown women looked at her confused.

"What do you mean with 'beautiful'."

Fumio worriedly asked her daughter.

"Music! Music is beautiful!"

The two women looked at the girl with a scowl.

"Wait, don't tell me you actually found the music of these guys good!"

Akane looked as if she just realized the misunderstanding she created, she was at a loss for words and started to flail her arms around, trying to think of the words she needs for an explanation.

"NO! No, nonononono. I didn't find their music beautiful, it was out of rhythm, too loud, too silent, out of sync and their voices were soooo annoying!"

"Then why are you suddenly saying that music is beautiful, wouldn't you hate music after hearing something like that?"

Akane shook her head.

"They might have done a bad job at actually doing their job, but these idiots still did their music with passion on the stage, and that is what counts the most, portraying emotions in your music, portraying feelings through sound."

After Akane said her part she was silent again, she then wordlessly started walking again, deep in thought.

The two adults looked at each other for a moment, before they then followed after the young child.

After a moment of silence Fumio tries talking to the child again.

"Hey, Akane."

"What is it mommy?"

"Do you want to play an instrument?"

The girl nodded.

"Should I hire a music tutor for you?"

She nodded again.

"What kind of instrument do you want to play?"

"The one that looked like a table with many buttons."

"You mean the piano?"

"If that is the name of the thing, then yeah, sure."

"Then I am trying my best to find you a good one, okay, Akane?"

The girl nodded one last time.

Rumi seeing this scene felt a bit uncomfortable, she didn't really have much options to talk.

"What is with that uncomfortable atmosphere? Aren't you two hear to relax? How about we go somewhere else? Like a music store! Your daughter can hear good music there, right?"

She did it anyways though.

"Well Rumi, do you have a good store in mind?"

"Yeah, there is that wacky shop that sells vinyl records, and they have gramophones in their shop, so the costumer can listen to the music of the plate, maybe we can find something good in it."

"Well, lead the way Rumi."

"Gladly!"

------------------------------------------------------------------

Akane had fun today, strolling through the many different shops, listening to music in that shop, shopping for clothes, trying many new different foods, and many more things. Akane had lots of fun today shopping around with the bunny hero, she barely felt how much time passed and it was already evening at the time they ended the stroll.

"Man, Fumio this was a fun day today! We should do something like that more often, your daughter is awesome."

"I am sorry Rumi, as much as I would like to do that you know that I am a busy woman, it is almost a miracle that I had so much free time today, normally I visit the mall with my daughter only for about one or two ours, not half a day!"

Rumi accepted the reason of her rejection and turned around.

"Well, bye! See you another time! And take care of yourself, we don't want that you collapse from overwork like last time, right?"

"You too Rumi! Take care of yourself too! You know how dangerous the job of a hero is!"

The two adults waved at each, ready to go on their way.

"Wait a minute, Rumi! You still didn't answer my question!"

"Akane, now is not the time..."

"NO! I want to know how the two of you met!"

"It's no use Fumio, your daughter is stubborn, if we don't tell her know she is going to bug us about this for a long time."

"Well, you know your mother is a lawyer, right?"

The girl nodded.

"Well, one time I seriously beat up this one dude within an inch of his life and got in some troublesome legal trouble because of that, at that time nobody wanted to be my lawyer and I was in serious trouble because of that, almost had my hero license revoked because of that incidence. But then your mother came, decided to help me out in that case, turns out that dude did some pretty messed up things and abused his position in the association, the case lasted for a while, but at the end Fumio won by a landslide! Should have seen the look on that scums face, deserved everything that came at him afterwards. Well anyways, turns out that me and your mother went to the same school in the past, so we talked to each other for a moment, she walked away afterwards, said that she had things to do."

The girl listened very attentively to the retelling of the hero, as if she listened to a hero show.

"And just so you know Akane, that was the case I finished on the same day as I found you, so I think you can say that if I hadn't chose to defend Rumi in that case, that I might have never found you and saved your life, pretty interesting how life turns out, right?"

"What? You found the girl on that day? What a crazy coincidence!"

"Well anyways, do you still have question or requests, Akane?"

"I want to touch her face?"

"What did she just say?"

"She is blind, remember? She just asked if she could see your face."

Rumi nodded, remembering again that the girl in front of her was blind.

"Touch all you want, what be weird if you didn't know how I look, right?"

Akane then reached towards her face, getting a feel of her facial features, she felt long hair, slightly sharp eyes, thin lips, and the big bunny ears, satisfied she stopped touching her face.

"As expected, aunty Rumi is beautiful too!"

"What?"

"Bye, see you some other time! Mommy, let's go home! I am tired."

Rumi was left there, standing, thinking about the little girls' words.

Later at the Seigi Residence:

Ring, ring, ring.

"Hello?"

"Oh, hey Fumio, it's me Rumi. I wanted to ask you something about your daughter, is that okay?"

"Oh. Glad to hear you Rumi. And yeah, as long as it isn't too personal, I will answer your question."

"You daughter IS blind, right?"

"What makes you think otherwise?"

"The accuracy she grabs things is almost like she had sight! Or how do you want to explain the moment as I wordlessly stretched out my hand and she actually grabbed it?"

"Ah! Yeah, moments like that make you think that she actually has sight, but no, she really is blind."

"..."

"..."

"Do you want to explain to me how she does these actions?"

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot, so..."

Fumio started to explain to Rumi what echolocation is and used the examples her daughter gave her to explain the unique ability.

"Oh, so that's how she 'sees', interesting."

"Was that the only thing why you called me, or is there more?"

"Actually, there is another reason why I called you."

"And that is?"

"Do you have Häagen Dazs?"

Fumio breathed out heavily at these words.

"Not you too Rumi."

"NO! I am not asking for myself, it's just your sister, Etsuko, broke into my apartment and demands ice cream."

"Any other problems?"

"YES! What should I do with your sister?"

"Just kick her out."

Katschak.

"Hello? Hello? Seriously, she just ended the call!"

"Give me ice cream."

"Out with you!"

"NEVER!"

That day a woman with a kimono was thrown out of a building.

DO WE SEE A SHIP HERE ON THE HORIZON!

No, no, I don't see a ship on the horizon, what the hell are you talking about?

*Burns Quartz* *gets angry*
