Where are we

*What the hell happened, why does my body hurt?* Suddenly James' eyes burst open, as he stood up he saw his friends unconscious in the escape boat, he looked to the side of the beach to see sand. Realizing he was on an island he looked at the land and saw trees and sand all across the bay, he looked at the ocean and saw the cruise ship smoking and halfway sunk to the water. "Guys wake up," he said attempting to yell but he could barely speak, he kneeled to nudge Clayden but couldn't move his right hand, when he looked at his hand he saw it was dislocated. *Fuck I'm gonna have to relocate my hand* he thought, his left hand grabbed it and he counted down from 3. 3, 2, 1, he quickly popped his hand back into the socket causing him large amounts of pain, "AH" his screams of pain quickly woke up Jonathan and Toby. "What, what happened?" Jonathan asked looking around, seeing James holding his wrist in evident pain, Jonathan looked at Toby who opened his mouth trying to speak but he had hit his throat and was unable to produce any sound.

Jonathan examined his surroundings, "God, this is bad" he said, while tears formed in his eyes, but before he could start crying he wiped the tears. "We can't let this defeat us, we have to make a fire yeah to get someone's attention." He said hoping to fill the other 2 with encouragement. "You expect us to feel encouraged? Look at where we are, we are stranded and you're ignoring that?" James responded as steady streams of tears ran down his face. "Toby can't even speak, look at him" James followed up with his previous statement, Toby looked at James then Jonathan, he wanted to talk to ease James but no matter how hard he tried not a peep came from him. "Why do you have to look at the bad things? I know it's bad, it's really bad but the only way we get out of this is if we keep our heads up" Jonathan said. "Why do you act like this is a joke? We have two of our friends unconscious" James said, starting to get aggravated as his tears stopped. Jonathan looked at Kymani and Clayden who were lying in the boat, he went to Clayden and started to nudge him trying to wake him up but nothing worked. "Look for something like smelling salts, or get a bucket of water to splash on him" Jonathan commanded to one of the others, despite his feelings James knew Jonathan was right to an extent and found a cup, filled it with salt water then splashed it on to Clayden. "Ah, what's happening?" Clayden yelled jumping up from the floor of the boat, suddenly he grabbed his side groaning in pain. "Hey, what's wrong? Your ribs?" Jonathan asked, but Clayden was in too much pain to muster out the words. Jonathan felt around his stomach where the ribs were and was put at ease to know nothing was broken. "Hey you'll be ok just rest up, now to get Kymani up," Jonathan said turning towards Kymani about to nudge him to attempt to wake him up.

"Don't touch me, let me sleep bro" Kymani said, surprising everyone, "I'm sorry you've been awake this whole time. James asked in confusion. "Kind of hard to sleep when all I hear is, blah blah blah blah blah." Kymani said, turning to his other side trying to find a more comfortable position, "But now that I'm awake might as well get up," he said with clear aggravation to his voice as he stood up and hopped off the boat. Then he turned around facing the other boys, "Look guys, it's bad but we can't give up, just look over there" as he pointed to a spot on the beach where the sand and grass combine with trees in a U shape with a boulder on one side of the trees. "We can make a shelter right there and then who knows maybe we can make that burnable statue, from Madagascar," Kymani said as he ran over to the spot outlining his ideas with his arms. "Well, where are we gonna get the supplies to do any of that?" Clayden asked, Kymani then pointed toward the ocean when the boys looked they saw the cruise ship in smoke but not fully submerged in the water.

"Oh no we can't, what about the beast? If things like that are around just think about what's under the water." James said with full disagreement towards Kymani's ideas, "Well if we drive the boat over we could collect supplies, think about it there's bound to be useful things of all kinds on that cruise." Kymani responded, "Well I'm not going back there!" James persisted as he jumped out of the boat walking to the shelter spot, "I'll stay here with whoever and we can try to build a little shelter" James said in a compromise to Kymani. "OK, who wants to stay with James?" Kymani said hoping that at least one person would go with him, as he looked around Toby and Clayden had their hand raised but when he looked at Jonathan he looked fully interested in accompanying Kymani on his quest. "Ok, then it's decided, I and Jonathan will go back to the ship to collect supplies to help us survive our minor inconvenience," Kymani said as Toby and Clayden hopped out of the boat walking to James, Kymani started up the boat and he and Jonathan started going towards the cruise. "Wait, do you even know how to drive a boat?" Jonathan asked Kymani as he drove the boat stopping and going every time he felt he was going a little too fast. "Well I never thought I'd need to learn how, so no I don't, do you?" he said asking Jonathan who got up shewed him from the steering wheel, and started driving the boat fast and smooth.

"Where the hell did you learn to drive a boat?" Kymani asked, surprised that in all the time he knew Jonathan he never knew he could operate a boat, "Eh, Rust can teach a lot of things, I took a boat driving class last year." Jonathan said as they got closer to the cruise. As they got closer to the cruise Kymani saw a dark figure in the water out of the corner of his eye, he wasn't bothered by this though because he thought it was a dolphin or something. Once in the vicinity of the cruise, Kymani saw more shadows moving through the water, he started to get concerned by this point, "Hey Jonathan tell me you see those things too." he yelled hoping he wasn't just going insane, "Hold on we are here at the boat tell me when we're on the deck." Jonathan yelled, the cruise ship was almost engulfed in water but the deck and anything upstairs happened to be just above sea level. Once at the ship Jonathan turned off the boat and stepped onto the deck of the cruise ship, "what were you saying on the boat?" he asked as he looked towards Kymani's direction. "Oh it doesn't matter anymore, let's just get this loot," Kymani said as they walked off to scavenge for anything useful on the boat.
