The real truth: Broken law

The day they were allowed inside of the many worlds.

At first, only one was invaded by them but when they were allowed inside of one, the rule, the law that had been keeping them from entering easily, that had only failed to lock out the weakest was violated and it was irremediably shattered, now all of the worlds would be accessible to them, it took a while before the inhabitants noticed their arrival.

After all, the invaders weren't savage beasts, they knew that a semblance of balance had to be kept, as such they acted similarly to gods or simply observed the worlds they had made their way in, taking minimal actions, still their presence caused the arrival of the weakest of their kinds, the birth of creatures related to them, as well as the apparition of some of their brethen, born directly inside of some of those worlds.

Though, those born inside of worlds tended to be much weaker and unable to leave their home world.

The origin of all of this, the being that had caused the destruction of the law was what was now referred to has an eldritch, though usually the term was accompanied by another appellation such as monstrosity or god, the one term that was common to every world was that of eldritch.

An eldritch being from outside of any worlds had started wanting to do something, a strange occurence for a weak eldritch being such as himself, usually, they lacked a strong ego and personality and rarely thought of taking action but this one had a clear thought, similarly to an explorer, he wished to make these worlds habitable for his kind, an even stranger occurence it was for an eldritch being to act for others.

Even the closest of them barely interacted and even less helped each other out of goodwill but this one did and he started trying to find his way inside one of them, he had a clear idea of how to accomplish his goal, he had studied how the law that kept them outside functioned and why some may be able to get past unnoticed, eldritch beings had a very particular type of energy within them, one that they shared with the father and it seemed as though the law couldn't detect a certain amount of it, allowing especially weak eldritch being to make it inside.

The being split itself into a small piece and sent it inside a world, he analysed how this world functioned and discovered that he would need to be recognised as an inhabitant to be able to truly put his plan into action, he was still regarded as foreign and the system kept a close eye on him, he was being prevented from releasing his energy into this world.

The being observed this world and came to a solution so as to be regarded as an inhabitant and stop the system from treating him like an outsider, the being appeared before a wounded and desperate man.

He had been forgotten by his own side after the battle and left there, stuck under the carcass of a horse, the man was weak and would never be remembered, that was for sure, the being appeared before him, freezing the man with shock and fear.

However, the being's words soon shook him out of it, the eldritch being offered him an accord, he would make him the best in a discipline and all he would have to do is allow the being to serve himself as well as each his descendant as a familiar.

The couldn't see the machinations behind the beings words and obviously accepted the advantageous offer, the contract was signed and the man recognised the being as a familiar thus, the being no longer was an outsider, he was now a part of this world as a certain cast of beings, the system released its surveillance of the being and he started unleashing his energy, slowly acclimating this world to eldricth presence.

While he did so, the being fulfilled his part of the deal and served the man's family, due to the influence of such a being, each generations, only a single heir would be born so as to allow the contract to be fulfilled correctly, the being took on the shape of either a maid or butler, serving each generations and nurturing them to be the best, the system even granted him a special skill to facilitate the process, at each generation, the book would be wiped but it was no issue.

At first, the descendants had seen the servant as a strange occurence but as time passed, the existence of a servant to help them became normal and they became blind to the contradictions raised by the servant's apparition at each generation.

When his true mission was accomplished and eldritch beings were now able to enter without issues, the servant disappeared with the last heir of the Gandefer family, melding back into his original body.

At first, the eldritch god, being ever-living had actually planned on repeating the process for each world until he managed to do the same thing as with this one, however, he had unknowingly completely shattered the law in the process of accomplishing his goal.

With his accomplishment, he was granted a name directly by the father, that of αποικιστής, the eldritch being, while still weak in the grand scheme of things became known and left a strong impression on the father.

Thank to his action, the father would be able to seize full control over a world for a time, brethens of αποικιστής would be able to form religions using the inhabitants of the worlds and even cause the creation of worlds were eldritch beings are the only gods or worlds only composed of eldritch beings.

His name was unknown by many and rarely mentioned but he was the cause of a great change in everything, by assuming the role of a person people barely paid attention to, he had managed to break a fundamental rule that even the father couldn't break.

He was worthy of being considered one of them.
