Inside a hallway made up from white tills… well, former white tills, lay five human corpses.

All of them are brutally dismembered and their blood and entrails paint the hallway red.

Two of the five people seem to have been researchers of some kind as they wore lab coats while the remaining three looked like soldiers or security guards.

At that moment one of the two researcher's bodies showed an abnormal reaction.

Black and purple pixels start to appear around the upper body of a woman with long pale blond hair and her remaining strewn-out parts till they completely cover her.

Then all the pixels came together before disappearing, leaving a completely healed woman in a white lab coat with light blue blouse underneath and black pants with same-colored boots sitting with her back against the wall.

Snapping open her ice blue eyes the first thing she saw was a blue window floating in front of her face.

Immediately a frown appeared on her rather delicate face only to turn rather ugly when she heard a female electronic sounding voice.

*Welcome back to the world of the living "067".* The electronic voice said followed by another blue window that replaced the first one.

The woman called 067 by the electronic female voice quickly read through the new window before scrambling to her feet.

"I'm confused and pissed so let's do this fast and easy." Muttering those words, she looked up at the white ceiling where some only a little blood dripped down.

"System, change designation of the entity '067' to 'Jin' and activate all tutorial and assistance options before setting the difficulty to the lowest." She spoke with a calm confidence before patiently waiting for an answer.

*Affirmative, entity '067' has been renamed to 'Jin'.*

*Subsequential orders have been recognized and implemented into the system.*

Following the voice a new blue window appeared in front of 067 now renamed to Jin.

[BEEP!

System setting been altered by Player 'Jin'.

Difficulty reduced to 'Survivable' from '999'999'999 death's challenge'.

All tutorial and assistance options activated.

Player 'Jin' acquires {Player's Instinct}, {Unlimited Ammunition}, {Indestructible Equipment} and {Infinite Inventory}]

Looking through the content of the blue window Jin couldn't help but smile.

'That's more like it.' With that thought she dismissed the blue window and walked over to one of the three corpses belonging to a security guard.

Without any remorse or sings of disgust at the horrific state of the body she starts to loot anything of value from the corpse.

After finishing looting the corpse Jin moved to the next one and repeated her previous action.

Like that she looted all three corpses before walking down the hallway in the direction from which whatever had killed her and the other four people came from.

While walking Jin looked at the things she got from the three bodies.

'Hmm, one of the Rifles got destroyed, the same for the missing radio, luckily the rest remained intact. I don't need the ammo and their clothes and armor are totally destroyed beyond use.'

Thinking to herself Jin arrived at a destroyed blast door.

Raising one eyebrow at the sight she couldn't help but think about what kind of creature was able to perform such a feat, only to come up with tones of ideas and ultimately discard this train of thought.

Behind the forcefully opened door was a wide room with a lot of glass tanks in which a translucent green liquid was contained.

In some of the tanks strange and somewhat disgusting creature seem to float.

Without a word Jin opens her inventory and takes out one of the two rifles in it.

Thanks to completing her first quest after looting the five weapons from the corpses she had no difficulty handling the firearm.
