Harry potter Aincent beast (1329 words)

In front of an orphanage inside a basket warped up in a warm blanket lies a small baby girl.

The parents of the little child were nowhere to be seen.

After a while the door of the orphanage opened and an old lady walked out, she immediately noticed the basket with the baby inside, it had happened to many times already.

With a sad sigh she bowed down and lifts the baby out of the basket before returning to the orphanage.

Once inside she carefully inspects the little thing in order to make sure that she was alright.

With visible relief she places the baby in one of three cribs next to another baby.

"You poor little thing, to be abandoned by your parents at such a young age… But don't worry little one, we here at the rose orphanage will take good care of you." The old then turns around and goes on to do what she initially wanted to do before she found the little girl on her doorsteps.

What she didn't notice was that the little baby girl had opened its eyes and was curiously watching her departing figure.

The baby's deep forest green eyes follow the old lady till she left its field of vision and then some more as if they could see through solid walls.

Something ancient and alien seems to hide behind those two green eyes.

Later that day the matron found a letter inside the basket which explained the baby's situation a bit more.

Apparently, the parent of the baby died in an accident and none of the few relatives were in a situation that would allow them to take care of a newborn baby.

Apart form that there was also the name of the baby which her mother gave and some money.

Mia Wraith was the name of the little child.

The old lady sighs and promises herself to take good care of little Mia.

Weeks, months and years pass by, and Little Mia grew up into a cute little girl with light brown hair that boarders on orange.

Over the years Mia cause a lot of small incidents inside the orphanage.

For example, Mia never cried while a baby, because of how calm she was the old lady multiple times almost forgot to feed her.

Or when she just became two years old and cut herself on a sharp edge when playing, she didn't react to the bleeding wound except for looking at it curiously.

Because of this the old lady and the two other women working at the orphanage had to always keep an eye on Mia in case she hurts herself and didn't react like the many times before.

They also took it upon themselves to teach her about lot of things because the old lady realized that Mia only didn't react to unfamiliar things.

After the incident with the cut, she told Mia that she should come to her if something like this happened again.

The old lady of course meant that she should come to her whenever she is hurt, but Mia took it so that the old lady meant she should only go to the old lady when she cut herself.

Over the following years the old lady carefully taught Mia about commonsense.

At the age of nine Mia finally got the hang of it and no longer stood out form the other children.

Sitting in the green grass underneath a tree, Mia silently reads a fairytale book.

'This world is strange and the 'humans' as they call themselves are weak. This body I'm currently using is so fragile.' A low sigh escapes Mia's lips as she thought back to all the times her fragile body got damaged.

'It is interesting and annoying at the same time. If I don't want it to be ruined, I will have to study it carefully so that I can repair it when needed.' Closing her book Mia stands up and walks back to the orphanage.

'When I'm already at it, it would be beneficial to expand my knowledge in other fields too.' Musing to herself in silence Mia enters the orphanage in order to ask the old lady which took care of her since she was a baby for some books about the human body.

For the next two years Mia read a lot of books and worked on her understanding of her body.

Through trial and errors Mia mastered the art of repairing her body by manipulating its natural healing ability with some of the power of her true body.

"Finally!" She cheered loudly as she watches the long, bone deep cut on her arm neatly knit itself together not even leaving a scar.

'It's fascinating how such a small boy is able to perform such feats, even if it is with the support of my true body's power, the only downside is that it is so sensitive and fragile.' Frowning at the thought Mia thinks for a while before coming to a decision.

'I will make some self-imposed rules in order to make this experience more fun.' A small grin spread over her delicate face which is framed by wild orange-brown hair that is bound into a high ponytail.

"First rule! I won't use my true bodies power outside of my own body." She declares.

"Second rule! No prying into the world's fate/history/destiny with my main bodies power." She continues.

"Third rule! … … … well… I think two rules should be enough." A little embarrassed at her failure to come up with more rules a faint blush appears on her cheeks.

'Anyway, it is time to go back to the orphanage or the old lady will get worried.' Grinning cheekily at the memory of the old lady's flustered expression when she came home late Mia makes her way back.

"I'm home!" She shouts as soon as she enters the orphanage.

"Mia dear, can you come into my office, there's a guest for you." Came the old lady's reply from the second floor.

Curious about what this guest could possibly want from her Mia jumps up the stairs, skipping every second one.

It doesn't take long for her to enter the cozy office of the old lady where she immediately noticed the other person sitting opposite the orphanage's matron.

She is an old lady much like the matron, but her clothes are a bit off.

"Let me introduce you two, Mia this is Professor McGonagall, she's a professor for a special school and wishes for you to joint this school.

Professor, this is Mia Wraith a bright and cheerful child if I may say so." The old matron introduces the two with a happy smile.

"It's a pleasure meeting you Professor McGonagall." Mia says and nods at her while reaching out with one hand for a handshake.

"The pleasure is all mine miss Wraith." McGonagall says and shakes Mia's extended hand.

"If possible, I would like to have a short talk with miss Wraith alone, depending on her decision I will then discuss things more in-depth with you later." She then says to the old matron.

"That is of no problem, Mia dear be nice and call me if you need something." The old lady says before leaving the office and closing the door.

Now alone in the office with her guest Mia lets herself flop onto the free couch before staring intently at the old woman clothed in robes.

The two just stare at each other for a while before McGonagall finally breaks the heavy silence between them.

"Miss Wraith, do you believe in magic?" She asks with a slightly raised eyebrow.

A light frown appears on Mia's delicate face.

"The term 'magic' is very wide ranged, but if you mean to ask if I believe that there is a power in this world that can perform supernatural feats, then yes. I believe in magic."

McGonagall intently stares at the eleven years old girl sitting across her.
