I open my eyes and look into the blue abyss which seems to stretch on for all eternity.

Unseen currents split this gigantic place into many smaller zones and territories.

The beings which live in this unfeeling hell are ranging from giant sharks with tentacles to pufferfishes that explode into clouds of toxins.

Nature has hidden all its strange and horrific abominations in these depths in hopes that they just kill each other and never leave this hell.

And now I am part of it.

Brought here because of unknown reasons in the form of an eel like creature with two tentacle antennas on my head and a mouth filled with sharp needle like teeth's.

My slimy, dark green skin and half translucent fins are not suitable to tank any hits which makes me to an all damage dealer with zero defense.

'Enough lamenting for today, I still got to hunt for some food.' Moving my snake like body I swim away from my previous location which doesn't look any different from the surrounding blue water.

In a normal ecosystem the smaller creatures would move close the ground in order to find cover from bigger predators, but in this blue abyss of an ocean the ground is so deep down that only the strongest of creatures are able to survive the way down and it is still a mystery if they ever managed to come up again.

Because of that every creature living in this hell has acquired the ability to keep track of their movement from day one.

Using my birthplace as the zero point, I built up a coordinate system allowing me to know my exact position relative to my birthplace.

Without this crucial ability It would be impossible to navigate in this hell hole.
