Chapter 33: Descent into Darkness

Arthur returned to the inn and found Casia waiting with the others. He recounted what had happened in the dungeon, his words measured but tinged with an undercurrent of urgency.

"So, are you going back again in two days?" Casia's voice held a note of concern, her eyes searching Arthur's for reassurance.

"Yes, I have to," Arthur replied, a slight edge in his tone. "It's the best way for me to get stronger. I need this... to become who I'm supposed to be."

Casia lowered her gaze, her hands fidgeting slightly. "I just... I worry, Arthur. You're pushing yourself so hard."

Arthur placed a hand on her shoulder, his grip firm but reassuring. "I'll be fine, Casia. I have to do this."

He then turned to Garudax, his focus shifting. "Garudax, can you come with me to the training ground?"

Garudax raised an eyebrow. "The training ground? Now? It's late, Arthur."
